The rooms are old and not very cozy. But there was everything we needed.

It was clean and close to the beach and the most quiet one we slept in costa Rica.The rooms are big.

Great location close to the beach. Pools were beautiful, with lots of room for everyone. Breakfast was good, but expensive for what's included. Loved that rooms were close to the pool with front private tables and chairs to sit outside. Weak shower but did the job. Kitchen was well stocked with almost everything needed to prep your own meals. Walls thin to outside noise, but mostly quiet area after 9pm so not an issue.

The location was perfect. A very short walk to the beach with several restaurant choices across the street and next door. There was a store next door for snacks and drinks.

At first, we got a room where there were a lot of ants and other bugs, but we asked for another room and we could move to a nice cleaner one. The furniture is oldish, the beds are squishy but comfortable.

The location was good, big rooms and clean. It had swimming pools and breakfast included. Laundry service for a fee is nice. Fridge in the room is a good addition. Good value for money. Playa Hermosa is absolutely stunning.

More furniture (chair and table) in the room would be handy. Safe did not work -- was told it would be fixed tomorrow. Did not happen. A lot of noise at night from one yappy dog and motorcycles. I would rent a car for more exploring if I ever visited again.

Convenient location, nice pools and convenient to restaurants, market and a short quiet walk to the beach. We liked the beach although it is a steep grade and the surf would be rough (when we were there) if one was not confident in the water. The shower has a tankless water heater which is complex to look at, but worked quite effectively. The pool area is noisy, but becomes quiet in early afternoon when the little ones go down for a nap, and they go to bed early too. Lots of parking. Close to airport.

The restaurant attached was great food and reasonable. The pool was awesome. Very close to beach and convenience store. Rooms had AC. security guarding vehicles all night so felt very safe. Had filtered drinking water. Pool was so close to our room so we could watch our baby on the monitor and swim.

The beds are absolutely uncomfortably squeaky. As I mentioned in the positive comment, a special crowd of people go to this type of hotel/resort. It is loud, it is a free for all with no rules being followed. It’s mayhem, but has a comfortable Cleanliness to it. The staff is not very pleasant and they are very forgetful of what you booked, if you have free breakfast or not, and most of them have less a fair look and attitude. Don’t expect to get pool towels , don’t expect a smile, you are there to enjoy the nice pool and to get a nice night sleep on an uncomfortable bed.

We enjoyed the cleanliness of the pool and the rooms, even though they are very old and outdated, they felt overall clean. The restaurant nearby is adequate. Please keep in mind if you are traveling to there, it is for lower to middle income, traveling families. Lots of noises, lots of random barbecues and Glass near the pool, the next day. It looks like a frat house party was there. Nice place if you like that kind of vibe. The beach is just a short five minute walk. The location was great yet there are nonstop motorcycles, and fake off-road revving their engines in front of the hotel. The gardening is beautiful.

Pool area was loud, not very relaxing but understandable that it’s the holidays and people are here with their families enjoying the pool and time off work. Our room could have been cleaner. We had a lot of ants due to food spillage from previous guests and some hair on the floor.

It was too bad that we were not made aware of the construction happening right behind the property. They started bright and early at 7am with the jackhammer which was very noisy and too bad. also the pool was painted one of the days, which we were not made aware of prior to either. The workers just told us and I received a text message the next day - they definitely can work on their preventative communication. Staff did not speak English.

The facility itself is nice and well looked after. Breakfast was great too.

The continental breakfast is pretty basic. They also brought us coffee with a long black hair in the cup. When we mentioned it to the staff, they simply poured the same coffee into a different cup and brought it back.

it was quiet, safe, clean, nice staff, close to the beach and a great breakfast. Great pool, just never had time to use it. the air conditioner was quiet, unlike the last two hotels we stayed in. and it had coffee in the room.

The location was excellent. Very near the the best beach for wave jumping and body surfing. Beautiful beach. Staff was great. Very kind. Several people spoke fluent English. There were a few restaurant options without having to drive but the busier tourist beach was only a 13 min. Drive away if that's your thing. The pool got a little loud for me over the weekend and went all day from morning until 10pm. But during the week it was quieter. Just a heads up for those sensitive to noise. There was a nice security gate for parking. Highly recommend this place.
