“The house was fantastic! very charming and authentic. The garden was very natural and we have seen different animals and special frogs. There was a nice walking path trough the forest to the beautiful beach. The host left nice flowers on the table when arriving. Supermarkets is closeby as well as bike rental. We really loved the place and.I definitely recommend the place I you want a relaxing natural and calm stay near the beach.”
“The place is clean and has everything you need. It is surrounded by nature, so it's really quiet and relaxing. It is pretty and cozy as well as close to some restaurants, a supermarket and playa Chiquita.”
“The location was convenient to the town with a car (5 mins). The pool was great. The communal area was nice. Jungle landscape was lovely. Fresh towels on day 3. Soap on arrival. Gean was great.”
“The house is very nice with a beautiful veranda with hammock. From the veranda you have a nice view of the jungle. The kitchen is well equipped and everything works well. The hosts are very nice and they have a lovely and very friendly dog and a cat. One of the hosts dropped me off in town after checkout, great service!”
“Nice and clean stay in the middle of the jungle. You’ll be sharing the house with host Alexandra – incredibly welcoming – cuddle-cat Michael, and possibly another guest. The kitchen is fully equipped with a wide range of utensils, and the bedrooms have fans. One of the highlights is the bathroom, which is surrounded by glass, offering views of the lush greenery (with complete privacy, of course).
The house is about a 15–20 minute bike ride from Puerto Viejo – walking isn’t really an option, but a tuk-tuk (around 4000 CRC) is!
Drinking water is available. Board games (including Rummikub) are available too.”
“This is a very special place, we all loved it, especially the kids. If you sleep upstairs, you will feel like you are in a tent, hearing the jungle and the sea when the traffic stops. We saw agouti every day walking around the house, and a sloth on the way to a very nice and uncrowded beach just 5 minutes away. Big supermarket just 3 minutes away.”
