Most of the time, what is supposed to be there is there. A small fridge, warm water, every day cleaning service, air conditioning, and internet. As many accommodations you find in Kampala often deceive you on these margins, the hotel being honest with their capacity does deserve commendations. The breakfast was overall okay, or rather quite good. If you are an East African, perhaps you would like it more than I did. But even from a foreigner’s perspective it was good.

Perhaps consider setting a mosquito net. This is because sometimes foreign tourists may be more aware of issues regarding Mosquitoes. Not specifically a problem to me, though. Sometimes, the housekeeping people do not know what your demanded service is. As long as you tell them the exact information, however, there wouldn’t be any issue. Crucial point; if you need something from the hotel, please tell them upfront. That way you will get the best service. Reception is always there to support you at their capacity.

The accommodation is beautiful. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped, clean and comfortable. The small private pool is great for relaxing. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. In the neighbourhood, you can safely walk down to the lake and through the village. The shuttle service is convenient and they even picked us up out of hours.

*Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Hostile Environment* My stay at this apartment was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had as a traveler. I don’t take writing negative reviews lightly, but I feel it’s important to share what really happened for the sake of other guests who may be considering this place. From the moment I arrived, the *customer service was shockingly poor*. The manager on-site was consistently *rude, dismissive, and unhelpful*. Simple requests, like asking for toilet paper, were met with aggression or ignored altogether. I ended up having to buy basic supplies myself, which is unacceptable for a paid accommodation. One of the most bizarre and frustrating issues was being told I had to *pay my own electricity*—something that was never mentioned prior to booking. This alone was strange, but it didn’t stop there. I was also *forced to pay the entire amount for my stay in cash upfront*. What made the experience worse was the *type of clientele* the apartment caters to. It appears to be used frequently for *hourly or daily bookings*, primarily for *casual sexual encounters*. Throughout my stay, there was a constant stream of people coming and going, often late at night, with loud noises, slamming car doors, and clear signs of inappropriate activity. For someone staying longer-term and simply looking for a peaceful, safe environment, this was extremely uncomfortable and unsettling. The final and most disturbing part of my stay was when I requested my balance from the money i paid cash, Not only was the refund denied, but I was *threatened* when I asked for help getting to the airport, which had initially been promised. Instead of arranging my transport, as agreed, they called someone claiming to be from the *military*, who showed up in civilian clothes and tried to intimidate me into leaving the premises immediately. I was told that if I didn’t comply, they would *lock the gate and prevent me from leaving.
