Very good location and great value for money. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would stay again when I'm in Wellington. The bedrooms didn't have any external windows, which made them a little stuffy, but that also ensured that it was free of any road noise too.

Kitchen and bathroom amenities well supplied. Lovely and private, felt very safe at all times. Really clean. Amazing shower pressure, Nice artwork on the walls upstairs.

Sadly, the fire alarm went off 9 times throughout my 5 night stay. 3 of my 5 mornings I was woken between 6.30am-7.30am due to it going off, albeit only for a few seconds. Also went off twice very late in the evening. Wasn't cooking or anything, just sitting watching TV at the times, so have no idea why this happened. This was my only hiccup throughout my stay. Everything else was just perfect.

Quiet rural location with beautiful garden setting views and landscape beyond. Chickens were quietly clucking away in their pen on our arrival and the cottage was super clean and homely. Josie, the host, was lovely and happy to assist with any questions or requests, didn't need the latter as everything was thought of already.
