Everyone working there is so friendly and makes the stay very special. The tours offered are good quality and employ local guides. The waterside accomodation is so relaxing - a privilege to waste away days with the view of the water and village life. Food was decent.

No hot water for 3 days in a row despite raising the issue mid-trip. Wish they would invest in some more comfortable seating on the balcony and in lounge area.

I enjoyed every moment at Ng'ona Lodge. Highly recommended! The owners and all the staff are so lovely and welcoming and made me feel at home! It was also easy to organize with their help for the game drive at Majete, truly amazing experience! Thank you!

The only good reason to choose this place is the view. That's the only good reason. All the rest ? Overpriced and overestimated.

Overpriced and overrated. 20$ for a shared dorm with no towel included, full of dust and sand (at least swipe the floor before someone is coming in and I was the first one entering that room) toilet with no lights, no toilet paper, no soap, dirty swimming pool, overpriced food, and really slow service at the reception. I had to wait 30 minutes to check out because the guy at the reception didn't know that I paid my stay at the arrival and was keep asking me who was the guy I paid at (seriously ?!?!?) Definitely not worth the money you pay for staying here.

Noisy guests, very late at night in the bar that should have been shut and that unfortunately the staff couldn’t control. Not really their fault.
