This place looked exactly like the kind of old castle you’d picture when thinking of a European countryside getaway, but inside it was spotless and so cozy — absolutely perfect. Every single staff member we met was genuinely kind, and even before check-in they responded to my emails quickly and warmly. We had dinner at the restaurant inside the hotel, and the terrace was beautiful with such a lovely atmosphere. The food? Simply excellent. If I ever come back to this area, I’d definitely stay here again. The breakfast buffet wasn’t huge, but it had everything we needed and everything tasted great. The location was fantastic as well — just a five-minute walk to the train station, a beautiful park, and a great playground that kids will absolutely love. Plus, all the main sights of Sigulda were within walking distance. I’d highly recommend this place to any traveler!

I really enjoyed unique facilities namely being able to live in an actual converted bus. Also, the property was right next to the mini zoo with alpacas, deer and horses grazing right next to the yard. We were able to attend the mini zoo free of charge as a compliment of the hosts which our son loved so much and the hosts were kind enough to allow us to come second time free of charge as well on our departure day. Also, the yard next to the property was quite spacious. Enough to have a car parked in the yard off the street and for our toddler to safely play in. Also, hosts took care of portable heaters as the weather was cold and with portable heaters we faired quite well during relatively cold nights.

Well, there were mostly things that were largely out of control for the hosts that we did not like. For example the weather was not great at all during some days but the hosts provided portable heaters which were real lifesavers during cold nights. Also, the shower-toilet area is quite cramped but again it was a converted bus so no luxury was expected and the shower-toilet area was private enough and served its purpose in my opinion.

I liked everything, absolutely everything was amazing, quite place and not too far from city with car or even public transport!only minus was mosquitoes, there are so many.forest full with berries and mushrooms, amazing!!

Time goes way too fast

Got no idea that such a places exist in Jekabpils. Self check was my only saver. All worked perfect. Clean. New. Great car parking. Easy check in with codes.

Some noises if opened window.

Hotel is just next to the old town entrance, we were given early check in, breakfast is nice and the rooms are very nice

Everything was great

Location. You can see the sea from terace. All kitchen equipment. Tea, coffee. Clean. Comfortable beds!

Cold bathroom ground, maybe some ground heating or carpets would help. Not a lot space in 1st floor. Renewed grilling tools would be great!

Great location. Near to everything but still peaceful. Breakfast was great.
