Lovely setting, friendly staff and, if you like animals, they are great company when in common areas. Food was simple but good quality and tasty. Overall great stay and we were happy to be there.

A bit of maintance of certain sections is warranted. I feel that the need to cross the river by foot should be more clearly communicated because crossing the bridge with a big bag would be particularly difficult for certain people. Finally, we had a cold shower on all three days and the water came out in a single stream from a pipe with no shower head. Not a huge constraint, but did make the end of the day slightly more uncomfortable.

The bed may have been the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! I felt like a princess and the bungalow was so ideal to just relax in the hammock. Julian was an incredible host and I really enjoyed chatting to him! And then I met Miguel on my last night and he was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Also special mention Nino, Jack and Milo, I loved the doggo loves!!

    Nothing , it was great!

The property is well designed. There is lots of shade. My balcony had a hammock and lounge chair that overlooked the river. I appreciated that there was a restaurant on site. It made dinner very easy. My room was exactly like the picture only better in person. The bed was comfortable and it was great having a private bathroom. Also, Miguel was so helpful with things to do. I didn’t have a set itinerary and his suggestions really helped me make the most of my 2.5 days there.

It’s not so much that I didn’t like it, but it was a little confusing to get there. The entrance I was dropped off at didn’t have a foot bridge, so with the help of a local we crossed the low river. I didn’t mind it as it added to the adventure. My only suggestion is giving guests more clear instructions on how to get to the property.

I had to park my car across a rocky river or walk 15 minutes acros a suspension bridge. I slipped many times in the river, lost my slippers, barefoot walking on the rocky road to get back to the car to get another pair of shoes. I was drenched carrying my bags walking 15 minutes to my car after checking out. The only thing I liked was the receptionist and the staff who were very friendly and helpful, and Mike speaks English was a huge bonus.

The fresh fish turned out was frozen so it didn’t taste right.

We enjoyed the location and facilities, the place abstracts you from reality, the possibility to be at the river was the coolest for us, and we spend a good time chilling around... "Patacones" were always good... We didn't like that we had to go

Great place, close to the main road that connects several Tayrona national park entrances. But still, divided by a small river from the village and surrounded by rainforest trees. Awesome hosts, we got excellent recommendations how to trek the Tayrona NP. If you arrive by car that is of no issue, you can park in front of the house close to the path that takes you to accommodation suites. We paid to house owners a fee of 6000 COP per night for parking. It was perfectly safe. Diners were awesome, make sure to try local craft beers from Santa Marta ;)

The room was well presented, comfortable and very clean. The staff were helpful and caring. It's remote location might not be for everyone and it was awkward to access, either by wading across a river or via a suspension bridge.

Tayrona Paradise is quiet and beautifully located near Tayrona National Park. We had a perfect time also thanks to Miguel, the ladies in the service, the dog Niña and the cats. Very happy to come back <3 Sabrina & Felix

Paradise is the best word I could use to describe the accommodation. In the middle of the nature, with lovely pet animals, amazing food and drinks and mini bar in the bungalow, amazing river. Miguel Angel was really helpful and described in detail where we should go to the national park, also was happy to give some personal advices I asked for. The whole experience will make you wanna move there.

The owners are very nice and helpful people. There are lots of cats, dogs and chickens which are fun. The place is set amongst beautiful plants and there are hammocks to lay in. The surrounding area has some good walking places, up the stream that runs alongside the property.

I was expecting much more tranquillity here. Despite the river running on two sides, there is a lot of traffic noise from the main road and music blasting from around. The shower is a cold pipe of water. Sadly, the food is quite uninspiring.

I had a great stay at Tyrona paradise! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and the whole place was incredibly authentic and felt very isolated from civilisation, which was great. Everything was squicky clean and the place is barely 10 minutes by bus from the main entrance to the Tyrona National park, which is very convenient. I would 100% recommend!

The food was good but could be slightly improved upon, but maybe it's because, since I'm a vegetarian, my options were limited.

this is a forest hideaway… lovely rustic bungalows run by a helpful lovely team. by public bus we were met and taken across an impressive suspension bridge to the resort. the food was fab (fried fish)

nothing. the previous comment (and only negative one needs to consider a more mature approach to jungle life)

Everything was perfect about Tayrona Paradise. the room, the whole place, really nice breakfast and food, absolutely lovely staff always so friendly and so helpful with all the questions I had about what to do in the area. the posada is in a very convenient location too, very close to the main road (but you would not hear the traffic at all and you’ll be completely immersed in nature) so very easy to get the local bus to explore the surroundings. highly recommended to everyone!

    nothing, everything perfect!

if you’re looking to be in the middle of nowhere in the jungle, not too far from a Columbian National Park, then this is a pretty good spot to choose. simple but very comfortable, excellent bed. all the people who work there are genuinely good people

A few mosquitoes were a little annoying, but to be expected

well maintained site and the rooms feel very unique, the bungalows have a private feel, nice deck area with hammock, staff were very friendly, easy bus to parque and beach.

the dinner food was awful/inedible, breakfast is very limited with extra costs for juice, but there are some restaurants about 20 min walk away, the wifi was average and weak in the room, tv channels were limited (no smart tv), the room was very dark, overpriced for the the quality.
