The host was super friendly and helpful, i'm sorry I didn't get her name. Being so close to the entrance of tayrona allowed me to beat the morning line for entrance into the park . If visiting the park again, would definitely stay again.

The sweetest hosts!!! I got sick and needed to extend, they gave me a discount because I was alone. Kept on asking how I was doing. Location is great, only 5 min walk to the park. Also good breakfast (fruit egg toast pancake).

The location is amazing, right next to the entrance and some restaurants. Have stayed in Cartagena, Minca and Palomino for the same price range or higher, but this hotel was the best and so good value for money

We loved the independent cabin up on the hill. It's apart from the rest of the compound and very nice. You have a patio to sit out on and nice spacious room. The staff was also very helpful and friendly.

Perhaps it was the room we had. Just a warning people that if you are a light sleeper, do not select the mountain view room. It is a more rustic style room without sealed windows so the sound from the trucks engine breaking was super loud as well as the roosters calling from 4am. If you’re a heavy sleeper, this won’t bother you.

Really close to the national park. Nice facilities and really good staff attentive to our needs. Aircon was heavenly after being in the national park

Awesome option for a stay before or after heading into Tayrona! Location couldn't be better - a few minutes walk to the main entrance to the National Park; really easy to beat the crowds. The staff are great; really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was great, the room was just what we needed and the air-conditioning was nice. Wifi worked okay, and they were kind enough to store our luggage for four nights at no extra charge. Would highly recommend it - would 100% stay again if we return!

Nothing is bad, but beware not all the rooms have AC and Tayrona truly is very hot. The mosquito nets are also pretty worn out so maybe aren’t as effective as they could be!

The hostal is perfectly located for the main entrance to the park and also right next to a spot where you can take the bus to the Calabazo entrance if you want to do a longer walk from one entrance to the other. There is a nice pool which is clean and ideal for cooling off in. Breakfast is also nice. The best thing about this hostal is the staff. They are all very friendly and really helpful. They helped us arrange early airport transfers and also helped us in finding the right bus we needed to a more distant park entrance. It made our time there so much easier

Only being a few minutes walk to the El Zaino entrance to Tayrona, along with several restaurants, made this a pleasant stay before our visit to the park. Our rooms were clean with a mosquito net, breakfast was large & filling, they had a taxi driver who could pick us up from Minca (we used him as his rates were more competitive than other taxi drivers) and Elsy (the owner) allowed us to store our bags while we stayed overnight in Tayrona even after we'd checked out. As a bonus, they have several cute cats and dogs wandering the property.

We arrived late and still could checkin They even paid a part of the taxi since we did not have any change We could leave our backpacks there before going to Tyrona and also shower and use the pool when coming back from Tyrona Good breakfast The staff also provided good information about the neighbourhood

There were some other guests who stayed in the swimming pool screaming and playing music until 1am, while everyone had to wake up at 6am the day after. Owners should have come out to tell them to stop but they didn’t.

We got a private room. It was big, clean and comfortable. Owners were very nice and breakfast was included and good. The place has a swimming and is very very close to the Tayrona entrance (5 min walk) which is very convenient.

Cold shower (expected for the location) and the water comes out like a hose pipe rather than a shower head.

Super friendly staff! Great location - 5 mins from Tayrona Park Entrance. Allowed us to store luggage during our overnight in the Park and use the pool area while we waited for our transfer.

Location is perfect, less than 5min walk to Tayrona entrance. The room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Well equipped kitchen. The pool was clean and great for a dip! The staff are really friendly.

I had some issues locking the windows in my room. The shower rose had failed and so water just poured out rather than spraying.

The Location is excellent only 500m or so from the entrance to Tayrona National Park. The staff are very friendly and helpful and gave me advice on good beaches to visit in the area. My room was comfortable and for the cost was exceptional value. The pool area is really nice. They stored my bag for free and gave me some advice on how to get to the airport at Santa Marta. Breakfast starts at 06:30 so you can eat before you go into the park.

Close to Tyrona entrance Stuff were great and very accommodating. I booked a Family room for 4 as that was the only one available at the time on booking.com but when I got to the property they had a smaller room for two which was what we needed and they gave us that. Breakfast is good and the place is very clean
