We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Wonderful, comfortable, modern room with lovely bed & bedding in a traditional building right on the main square. And - importantly: heating and hot water (You'll want that in Monguí - it's cold). Very friendly and helpful staff - really good value.

United StatesWalls/ door a little thin, but fortunately it was quiet. Room had basics we needed, but would not be place to spend any time awake. Lights just bare bulbs so did not create good atmosphere, though great for packing bags and searching in them.
Staff very nice, attentive and helpful. Room adequate and in some ways very modern. Comfortable bed. Beautiful covered central courtyard where we ate breakfast.

FranceJust in case you pay with a foreigner card, make sure to contact the hotel before, cause apparently they don't receive payments through booking. I booked and paid before with the card and as I was checking out they didn't get the money. The receptionist was nice, I helped her to contact booking to know where the money was delivered since they took the money from my account. Despite the inconvenience, it was a nice hotel.

Nice travellers hotel on the main square faceing the church. Hot shower much appreciated. Nice and friendly staff, perfect location, not much more you would need to be kept happy.

The Mongui Plaza Hotel is conveniently located on the town square. The local bus stop is a few metres away. It is a well appointed hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are comfortable and the wifi is very good. Breakfast is fine.
