I was alone, but for two travellers, perhaps more storage for the clothes would be necessary.

Central location, very calm and quiet room. Comfy bad and pillow. The room was spacious even for two. The room and the bathroom were very cleen. The staff was extremely happy, helpful and funny. My tours were professionally organized. The drivers are well qualified, in contrast to the chinese driving attitude, they drove absolute safely. And they are intelligent and funny, I felt so good during my trips with them.

We like the style of the hotel and the room. Our room had a salon to take tea in the afternoon. It was appreciated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast taken on last floor (5th) with a nice view on the lake.

I couldn’t choose better! Hotel is located in quiet but central area, just next to the lake. Breakfast room with the view made a good start of the day. Many food options nearby. Every space and room is full of marvelous drawings, paintings and other pieces of art. The atmosphere is unique and yet very cozy. The hotel staff is beyond expectations! They speak good English. Our contact before arrival was smooth and professional, they responded immediately. I asked for help in organizing day trips to Rice Terraces and to Yangshuo and it was done perfectly. For a very good price I had two private tours with very polite and extremely skillful driver. I would never see so much without him. I also strongly recommend booking train station transfer if you arrive to Guilinxi - it is far away and having transport waiting for us in the pouring rain was a life saver. We felt very well taken care of and definitely recommend this place to everyone!!!!!

The hotel staff is excellent. We have booked the hotel a day in advance. We were only two days in Guilin and within a short notice they hotel has helped to arrange the tour, book the tickets and arranged a private driver.

Really beautiful hotel with lovely traditionally decorated rooms that had everything we needed. Great location, directly opposite a beautiful park and, so easy to walk to nearby attractions. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the breakfast ladies were so sweet. Would definitely stay here again!

it's either heavily raining or scorching sun burning towards end of July, making the trip to Guilin and YangShuo not very enjoyable, but not to the hotel's fault. Lacking mirror in washroom

not luxurious but unexpectingly very comfortable, good and sound sleep during our stay in the hotel. My husband's allergic rhinitis has enjoyed very clear nonstuffy airway while staying there. Simple but good enough breakfast and calming scenic view overlooking the Yung lake.

Tranquility, traditional decor, and helpful friendly staff.

This is a beautiful hotel in a very good location. Staff are very friendly (especially, "Zhuge" - so also helped us to arrange activities & drivers for the Longji Rice Terraces and river cruise to Yangshuo). Breakfast was nice with a small but tasty selection of food; it is situated on the top (5th) floor overlooking a lake.. The whole hotel oozes calmness and peace. I would recommend this hotel.

A very minor thing, the stone floors take a little getting used to. They are beautiful but can be a little hard on bare or socked feet. Wear slippers in the rooms.

The hotel is situated on the river and is an easy walking distance to a bustling night market. There are restaurants nearby. The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. The breakfast offered at the hotel was good. The bed is very comfortable and soft, like western-style mattresses. The rooms come with large towels.

Beautiful hotel, the art works and decoration are gorgeous. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was fine. The location across the parc is really nice, in the evening there are a lot of local people strolling, and also singing and dancing, providing free genuin entertainment and a really fun environment. Also many restaurants and little neighborhood stores for dinning. The hotel staff spoke good english and was very friendly and helpful with advice on where to go.

Everything was very good.

Very kind and polite staff, they helped up with the pick up from the airport and organised the taxi to the pier. When we checked in, the host suggested a few nearby spots to visit which was very helpful. She also helped us organise the cruise to Yangshuo. The breakfast in the morning was good, it's on the top floor by the terrace so you get a nice view of the mountain. The room was very good too, with a good amount of plugs and all the amenities you need it in the toilet.

Everything! It was truly special! The room was beautiful, romantic, everything we hoped for. Guilin is a magical place. Everyone was so nice and helpful. They helped us organize our time and some tours. Highly recommend to go for the private car service. Breakfast was so good with both chinese and western options.

Great location - you can walk easily to many places of interest in Guilin, and walk around and across the lakes. The room was beautifully furnished and the view was of trees, lakes and mountains. Delicious breakfast buffet with lots of Chinese and Western options including fresh fruit, eggs, etc. Very helpful English-speaking staff who can arrange tours and recommend restaurants and places to visit.

The room was great, it had a nice view and it was quiet. The breakfast room is really nice and the breakfast was good. The personal was always helpful and they organised a driver to get to the rice Terrace. The driver was really great.
