The location, a bit rowdy.

The staff were very warm and courteous. My room was very comfortable, I was simply at home. I enjoyed the breakfast as well. I look forward to another visit.

It's been a good first experience at Krystal Palace. I went for a week of rest. I appreciate the efforts and attention and hospitality of the crew. Thank you for that. The hotel is big ; meaning a lot of work is required to satisfy and attend to everyone's need and also ensure residents are safe and feel confortable. I appreciate the flexibility of breakfast time upto 11AM and the front desk team for proactively correct and compassate after my observations. The sunday brunch is enjoyable , entertaining with an interesting choice of food. The spa is net , well decorated and clean with a good team for each service. I would suggest to put some home/interior scents in the room to keep them as fresh as the elevators and the corridor at least for those who are not allergic. I faced some challenges with my flight at arrival which indeed impacted the airport transfer but I am glad it went well. I was upgraded to an Executive room.

The hallway on our floor was under renovation, while this was a bit of a distraction, it was nice to see the hotel renovating the older areas of the building.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers all modern amenities and comfort. The city of Doula is challenging but we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay.

The carpet in the hallway was dirty, and the hallway did not have air conditioning. The bathroom was very clean, but it could use some renovation.

The only aspect I didn’t enjoy about Krystal Palace was their food and entertainment choices. In my opinion, a hotel serves as a gateway to a country, offering the perfect opportunity to showcase its culture. Unfortunately, the menu was dominated by Western dishes, with very few Cameroonian options. This was disappointing, especially since Cameroon is renowned for its rich and diverse cuisine. Similarly, the music played in the hotel was exclusively Western. This felt like a missed opportunity to promote Cameroonian culture and highlight the country’s vibrant musical heritage. By incorporating more local flavors and sounds, Krystal Palace could provide guests with a more authentic and memorable experience.

My stay at Krystal Palace was truly delightful. I spent four days at this hotel and enjoyed every moment. The staff was exceptionally friendly and respectful, even allowing me to check in early without any additional charges. Having stayed in numerous 5-star hotels worldwide, I was impressed by Krystal Palace's daily room cleaning service—something that many high-end hotels no longer offer. Another standout feature was the top-notch security. Guests cannot access the elevators without scanning their room key, adding an extra layer of safety. Additionally, when I had visitors, the front desk always called to confirm my approval before letting them in. The lobby was another highlight. My friends and I spent time there, and despite being quite loud, the staff remained gracious and accommodating. Lastly, I highly recommend trying their spa—it was a phenomenal experience and the perfect way to relax during my stay. Overall, Krystal Palace exceeded my expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.
