The hosts were very nice, the view of ocean and beautiful grounds from the Cabañas, the location, their tours, and the airport pickup/dropoff. Beautiful stay!

I am very happy that I chose Cabanas Mana Nui. The pre-arrival information was clear and comprehensive and the pick up and check in process were uncomplicated and smooth, enhanced by a leisurely at the airport and guava juice on reaching the Cabañas. The location was excellent, close to the Sunset spot and good restaurants and not far from the centre of Hanga Roa. As a solo traveller it was kinda reassuring to be checked in on each day. Every request I made was realised. The kitchenette was well equipped, the water was hot, everything worked, the gardens were beautiful, I could see the sea from my comfortable room - what more can I say?

Tiny bathroom. Considering the other room sizes - more could be taken from bedroom to make it larger. Other reviews said the owners organised trips etc. I asked but nothing came of my enquiries . No mosquito measures and I got bitten badly despite putting on anti mosquito lotion. Taken to airport too early (though we missed the heavy rain by doing so) and cafe was closed until we were let in for boarding area. A lot of standing.

Location. Lovely garden a view of the ocean too from the veranda. Huge kitchen which was great to make a lovely breakfast and 1 dinner too. Very nice of the owner to stop at a supermarket and help me buy provisions.Huge bedroom with a standing fan which was useful. Lovely touch of being given a Moai necklace when I left .

The only drawback was the lack of AC or better ventilation to catch the breeze.

Our cabin was spacious and comfortable and included a kitchen and laundry facilities — just what we needed! The hostess was super helpful in booking tours for us, and the location was ideal. We especially enjoyed the small porch. Great place to watch the sunset!

Small family run place, very quite, nice garden, sea view from the bed, very close to Ahu Tahai, amazing sunsets. The family is very nice and helpful. I loved the place, a very good private alternative to hotels.

Would have been better if they were fully stainless steel spoons and fork. Wish the soap bar was a bit bigger.

Location, owners are friendly and helpful with information, got us an excellent guide, who was awesome. Gave us a portable fan when asked. The facility to cook in kitchen made it a wonderful experience. Bought some fresh tuna from the market and cooked.

Location was perfect, close to Tahai, so we were able to see Moais right away, as soon as we dropped our luggage at the house! The house was simple but clean and very spacious for our family (one room for each of the 4 of us), and the owners were beyond nice!! We forgot our ipad and they managed to bring it to us in the airport, after we had already checked in. Also, really appreciated that they picked us up and dropped us off at the airport.

The negatives are to do with the remote location not particularly this hotel. So some bathroom facilities and other equipment are dated but hey you're not in NYC so stop complaining. Enjoy the chickens and cats and dogs and lizards.

Excellent hosts, always smiling, always ready to help. Went out of their way to make us feel at home. Came to the airport to pick us up and dropped us off. Drove us to the market and nearby restaurant and arranged tour guide. Extended check out time, provided extra towels, always answers any questions with a smile that never wavered. Kudos to the hosts! The location was great, easy walk to City center, spacious room and good kitchen.

Wi-fi a bit weak in the room but didn't matter because barely used when you are away in easter island :)

We had a lovely stay here. Bicky welcomed us at the airport with a floral necklace and drove us to the place explaining about the area around. Room was spacious and bright, we also had a kitchen area where we could make tea coffee/cook and a fridge to store stuff but we used very little. Location was great, close to one of the sites and very quiet, we often when stargazing close by there. All small details were welcomed included laundry and Marcelo was so nice to took us by the airport when we checked out. The 3 small dogs were also around and very nice every time we arrived. Loved the garden and the quiet around there.

    Nothing.

Vickie and Marcelo are wonderful people. Vickie collected me at the airport...and Marcelo took me back there when I left. The cabin is beautifully rustic, spacious with great character. The wifi was excellent and the location is close to Tahai beach with its impressive moai statues. It's an easy walk to cafes and Pea beach where you can swim and watch numerous sea turtles which come in close to feed. An unforgettable experience. Do visit the close-by cemetery....it's the most beautiful and characterful I've ever seen and a must-see though respectfully of course.

The Wi Fi in our room was weak, we have to sit on a bench next to the office to get the fast connection. Also, the bathtub can be really slippery - beware. Paper towels or napkins in the kitchen can be useful. But these are small things, they did not spoil our vacations.

Nice clean bedroom with bathroom, good clean private kitchen, excellent private terrace for breakfasts. The garden view and the sea view from the bedroom and from the breakfast terrace. Spacious fridge in the kitchen, convenient gas stove. During the night we opened French window door to the garden, and had excellent sleep with sea air and the sound of waives. The garden is beautiful with a lot of flowers and exotic fruit trees. The general atmosphere is quiet, relaxing, beautiful, and comfortable. The hosts, Vicky and Marcelo, are excellent. If you don't have problems with understanding Spanish, then Marcelo is a really good guide, he knows a lot about the island, is a good storyteller, and has a good car. They will meet you at the airport with flowers, and transfer you to the airport on the departure day. The location is close to Ahu Tahai (sunsets!), walking distance from museum Rapa Nui, next to interesting cemetery (worth visiting) and good restaurant Topa Raa, 10 minutes from the Hanga Roa harbor. To buy groceries for breakfasts, we went to supermercado Hinova, open 9 am - 10 pm, 15 minutes walk from the cabanas. it has all we need. Hosts don't serve breakfast.
