Nice place, highly recommended. Mary was extremely helpful with excellent english. They were also upgrading the standard of accommodation while I was there so it should be even better.

The hostal needs a lighted sign to make it easier to find.

Gamboa mirador is across the street. Very good breakfast.

The place is old and you can smell it. Our room had no outside window. No sound isolation at all. Bedding was synthetic.

Spacious bathroom. Tasty breakfast. Good location. Well looked after by my host.

Disappointed my room didn't have an outside window. The walls are quite thin so I had to sleep with my earplugs in.

Friendly family run accommodation. Essentially sharing their house. Very kind people, clean and great location. WiFi was intermittent but ok and breakfast was basic but appreciated.

My room had no windows so not much natural light.

Very friendly family and lovely house:) the bed was comfortable and the designs of the room is great.

The bathing area is quite small and the bathroom does not have hitting so it’s chilly in winter to take a shower.

Beautiful family place, good breakfast and an excellent view from the mirador right in front of the house.

Loud talking in the living room after 11pm (it seemed to be one of the owners and kind of french people).

The host was very nice. The breakfast was good and the location also perfect. A short walk to busterminal and city centre.

Property is centrally located to plaza de armas.

The room is not as private as the window in the bedroom faces the storage room. Bathroom is a bit small with a tiny bathtub however the bed was comfortable and the sheets smelled so clean. 😊 One thing to note, clients do not have access to the gate key which makes you feel a little rushed to make it to the 11pm curfew however, they do recommend to call them if you are running late.

Good location close to both town centre & artesan/restaurant area on Costanera. Professional welcome. Wardrobe & shelves for storage, nice bath-towels.

My room was in the interior of the house, the only window gave on to a kitchen/patio area so it didn't feel very private (I kept the curtain closed). Breakfast was slightly disappointing.

Great location, nice host, comfortable bed, everything is clean. Breakfast is simple but tasty.

Can be a bit annoying that the door needs to be opened from the inside.

This is such a comfortable spot. The bed is cozy. People are friendly. Wonderful location for getting around. The sheets are so soft and then water is hot!! It is amazing to feel so comfortable in a place like this. Also they provided excellent advice about where to go.

All is excellent.

The location is perfect, close to the town center, the artisan market, restaurants and the museum. It feels very authentic as the host and her family live in the same house. The kitchen is accessible to the guests. The host provides breakfast, which is good and plentiful with home made bread and pastries.

I liked the comfort and the location. It was a really good place.

I did not like the high price and I consider it could be a better value for money.

Dirty or too old shower curtain. We moved to another room due to that reason. At the next morning they were changed by new ones.

no outside windows + it is not a guesthouse - it is a family house, where the family lives and receives guests, so you have to go through their private spaces (than hear them) - and you are not able to entry or leave the house, if they are not there ... it is good to know about this set up in advance

The location was brilliant. Very close to the main plaza but quiet. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

The bedroom had no window to the outside, just one into an internal roofed sort of courtyard. The shower was weak with unreliable hot water.
