Great location. Walking distance to a couple of restaurants. And a convenient grocery store across the street for self catering. Our host was amazing and answered our numerous questions about things to do and even the history of the islands.

The only down side was the beds and pillows were a bit hard.

The location is quiet - walk to a stunning beach and snorkel! Thoughtful details like family board games, laundry powder and washing machine, snorkelling gear and reef shoes - everything you need. Beautiful villa and tropical gardens, lovely staff.

Check in was a breeze with a lock box on site. However, they knew the time of our arrival, so our bungalow was open for us and ready. The bungalow was exceptional, very clean and had everything for an easy stay. The kitchen was well equipped and even had an air fryer and a pod coffee maker. The outside patio area was very private and comfortable with a nice table, BBQ and two lounge chairs. The bed was beautiful and I loved the big beach towels provided. The best aspect though was the beach, a short walk away, and the beach lounge chairs for our use.

Makayla Palms was the perfect place to stay for us. We loved the cosy and comfortable villa. It was spotlessly clean and had everything that needed for our stay. The beach was very close and was great for a bit of snorkelling. We also loved that the villa had a full size fridge, aircon, and fans. The bed was very comfortable too.

There was very little we did not like about the property. There are a couple of minor things I would like to suggest. I found the pillows a bit hard and ended up with a stiff neck. I dud not mention this and am sure had I they would have been replaced. There also needs to be some non scratch scourers in the kitchen as the brush did not always do the job. I would suggest a clothes dryer for airing as it is really hard to get things dry if you are staying a while like we were. Apart from this everything else was great and we would come back. Hope the comments assist.

We loved the location of the property being on a good stretch of beach, shopping centre across the road, Titikaveka church nearby. It was very private and quiet and was quite well equipped for your stay. The host Imai was lovely as was one of the owners Jade and Grace the cleaning lady. We had as great time and everyone went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. They even provided us with a new Air fryer which was fantastic. We would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Nothing, we had a wonderful time.

I was apprehensive arriving at 2am to a different country and having to find our accomodation in the dark. Imai made it easy. The lights were on, parking was easy and the room was pristine with milk and clean drinking water in the fridge ready to go. The supermarket was across the road. The gardens were beautiful and the beach just down the path with loungers available to be taken to the sand. I felt very safe and the people were lovely! It was warm and everyone seems so happy. We are coming back😍

We had a lovely 6 nights at MAKALYA PALMS at the end of our 17 night trip to the islands. Only a short stroll to one of the best beaches on Raro, the villa was very well equipped with all you need and patio BBQ. Would love to come back.

Lagoon at Makayla is really good for snorkeling. we spotted turtles twice nearby. There is a nice hotel's restaurant is a short walk. Car rental is in the next property. There are a small shop nearby, the closest larger one is at 3km. Personnel was really nice and welcoming. Free wi-fi, good signal. Netflix provided.

The WiFi was very hit and miss. Which was a shame as we needed it for our kids to be able to reach us. Apparently it is due to having issues with starlink due to cloud cover etc.

Loved the location and access to the beach. Our unit was very well presented and had everything we needed, lovely outdoor area and compared well to the photos. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily recommend and would stay again.

The mattress and pillows were not comfortable for us unfortunately., to hard. And we would love to view the beach from our accommodation, but it was just a one minute walk and very private.

The location, beach is paradise and beautiful house and gardens. Staff were fantastic, thank you.

Absolutely nothing

This was my first holiday overseas and staying at makayla palms made it so much more enjoyable. Honestly if you are contemplating makayla palms, don’t because not only was the villa fully equipped, super tidy and clean, has beach access like the beach is literally 10 metres to your villa doorstep, but the manager imai out did herself with her service. She made us feel safe and was the most friendly and welcoming of hosts I’ve ever experienced. I want to tell you to book it because it was the best experience but I also want to be selfish and tell you not to in case you book it when I want to go next hehehe. All jokes aside makayla palms has my tick of approval and when you stay there it will have yours too.

There wasn't anything I didn't like but the internet wasn't the greatest but we managed and in the end it was a good thing meaning we had to RELAX not check emails if social media :)

Kia orana, absolutely wonderful stay at Mikayla Palms. The bedrooms were generous in size with air con in each room and plenty of wardrobe space and comfortable beds. The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen meant we could stay connected while in different spaces. There were two doors from this area that led on to the cover outdoor entertainment area with outdoor dining, lounging and BBQ area, creating. GREAT entertainment area when we had extra people over. We also had a carport at the front of our villa, laundry facilities and a second toilet (handy with 5 adults). The villas also had a large bin of flippers, snorkels and mask for our us as well as life jackets, aqua shoes and kayaks BONUS! The Kitchen was well resourced and we had everything we needed to cook our meals and when we had extra whanau over the hosts were more than accomodating with extra cutlery and plates etc. Our hosts, the manager, gardeners and clean were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, so helpful and accommodating. and Titikaveka lagoon it right there with the best snorkelling on the island hands down.
