I just have a small note: could you please use a font in advertisements that can be read by online translators? 😆 I don’t know German, so I rely on them, but some fonts (for example, the one in the shared toilet) aren’t recognized. Thank you!

We were told at check in there was an event on but they would squeeze us in for dinner. Then another member of staff said a table wasn’t available. Not a great problem as there are so many lovely restaurants nearby but could have been an issue for some.

Very characterful hotel. Lovely rooftop room. Nice breakfast.

Arrived on a Tuesday afternoon & reception was closed my room key was in a digitbox so it was not immediately clear how I was going to get the code however a telephone call to the hotel and I had the information. At the end of a long journey I could have done without this issue however all was well at the end 🙂

Be prepared to walk up stairs

Nice older building right in the old city. Beautiful view from the upper floor room. Comfortable beds and accommodating staff. Very nice breakfast. This hotel didn't feel touristy but was an easy walk to the train station. We were given the guest card Chur that allowed free entrance to the excellent art museum.

The hotel was really well-located, right in the center of the Old Town. It's close to everything, and it makes the city feel real and lived in. The hotel itself is comfy and clean, with wonderful owners. The room was small, but immaculate. I felt like a poet in the garret because of the slanted ceiling. Terrific value for what you get, especially in Switzerland. I particularly loved the little details, like the rubber duck on the bathroom shelf.

A very welcoming host ensured the short stay was as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. Had a characterful but modernised room on the upper level, overlooking the street. An evening dinner in the hotel's restaurant was excellent and served at a pace allowing appreciation of the dishes.

Unmanned on day of our stay and ourselves and another arrival and ourselves could have done with some direction to sort out minor personal issues.

I was not bothered by these things but it is useful to know. As the hotel is in a historical building there is a beautiful curving stone staircase but no lift. The reception is on the first floor and the rooms are on the second. How fit are you?! My bedroom was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed but very simple. No frills just the necessities.

This absolutely delightful hotel in Chur's pedestrianised Old Town is 'Swiss chocolate box' pretty. It is a historical building with many original features especially in the dining rooms. The staff could not be more genuine and helpful, the food is of the highest standard and the Swiss ambience is perfect.

Having the toilet and bathroom outside the bedroom was a bit inconvenient, but we didn't have to wait to use either.

The beds were comfortable, it was in an incredibly central and pretty location.

Nothing really. It’s Switzerland so everything tends to be on the dearer side but overall, this was good value for money.
