the appartement is outstanding with a wonderful view of the Matterhorn. It is in the north of Zermatt, so in a quiet place, fully and very well quiped...it was really like being at home. I can only advice to rent it.

Zermatt is a very expensive city (too expensive for us, unfortunately).

The bus has not started running, so it was difficult to reach there at the first day.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Zermatt. It was very clean, well-equipped, and had a spacious kitchen—great for preparing meals. There are two balconies, both offering beautiful views of the Matterhorn, which was a real highlight. The two bathrooms made it convenient for the 3 of us, and overall, the apartment is budget-friendly for Zermatt. The owner was quick to respond to messages, which we appreciated. We also had a welcome drink.

One bathroom has started to develop some mold due to limited ventilation, so that’s something to be aware of. Also, during our stay, the local bus station wasn’t running, so we had to walk uphill to reach the apartment. It wasn’t too bad, but it’s worth noting if you have heavy luggage or mobility concerns you can take a taxi or just carry few and light weight luggages. All in all, a great stay with just a few minor inconveniences.

Zermatt is a charming place. And I always had a crush for Matterhorn. It's a place you must visit, at least once in a lifetime. No cars, just walking... like a longtime gone fairytale I can't imagine a better view to the big mountain (from Zermatt)... I will always keep it in my mind. But besides that, the apartment itself has all you need... and something extra... a "home away from home" feeling. The living has also a full french library... you can relax by reading if skiing is not your passion.

Snow was really not enough... come on guys, you really can do better

Apartment with spacious comfortable and with a wonderful Matterhorn view, think Martin is so special and a wonderful little hamlet above Zermatt. We walked back-and-forth as the bus wasn’t working up, but that was OK but a little bit far from town sometimes with the baby. The coffee machine did not work correctly And one little piece in the shower was broken but other than that all was great! I do think the linens could be refreshed and perhaps replaced. It was a wonderful setting overall though and near sweet playground, which is super if you have children very safe for them to go out and freely, walk straight down there and play and and come back on their own.

Overall, it was nice. I feel like I could be decorated a little bit more an update, the coffee pot, and newer linens.

The apartment was really well equipped with everything you need - excellent for self catering as Zermatt is very expensive! It was spacious, clean and we felt very at home. The view of the Matterhorn from the balcony was fantastic.

It’s a bit of an uphill trek from town but the red bus was running a lot of the time which took us almost to the door.

We have just spent 4 fantastic nights at this beautiful spacious appartment with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and two balconies with a spectacular view of Matterhorn. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equiped and Matterhornbahn and shops/restaurants closeby. Absolutely recommended.

    Everything was great.

When we arrived we had no idea how to get in. Apparently, the host had sent us an email that morning with instructions on how to get in, but that was a little late. We use a computer not a phone and it was too late to access the email. The guests above us let us in to the first door, and my wife was able to get int to the lock box with some trial and error numbers. Once we got in the place was great.

The late communication on how to get into the apartment.

We loved the location, the apartment design and in particular the view of the Matterhorn from the apartment balcony. The apartment is in an area called Winkelmatten which is a 10-15 minute bus ride from the Zermatt Station. We tended to walk into town which is around 20 minutes although walking back is up a significant hill. We enjoyed the peaceful location (particularly as Zermatt is very busy) and the apartment was in a lovely village. The view from the balcony of the Matterhorn was stunning and an absolute highlight. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Although not a reason not to stay at the apartment, as an overseas tourist we found the process of paying the city taxes through an Electronic Funds Transfer tricky and also ended up costing us additional funds to ensure the correct amount was received by the owner. We tried to pay cash at a branch into the nominated account but they were unable to do this.

Super clean and comfortable apartment. 1 min walk from the bus stop. Perfect for families. We stayed there for one week with two young kids and we really liked it.

We had to wire the accommodation tax amount to the owner and this was tricky as the credit suisse branch had no cashier so we had to send the money via international bank and the charges added 50% to the amount. We could have been charged via booking.com. Other than that, everything was great.
