Pillows too soft.. a minor issue.

I don’t often give a 10 especially as hotels are flippin expensive in Switzerland. However, I was actually sorry to leave Hotel Bern. The staff were fabulous issue with our aircon first night.. fixed which was bliss as it was 35C + outside! Coffee machine wasn’t working 2nd day fixed immediately. Room spacious, very clean, lovely bathroom, great shower and lighting. Bed big and comfortable, separate duvets .. love that! Aircon, fridge, tea and coffee machine, large towels, water supplied in fridge although Switzerland water from the tap is amazing! The roof bar!!! Not cheap but nothing is.. but a lovely spot to relax with a drink and there was a breeze up there, they also had lovely staff! Please give them aircon.. the bar area was very hot and I felt sorry for them! Can’t critic the food as we didn’t eat in the restaurant. Definitely we would return here!

Parking is not at the hotel, prepare for a little walk. Book in advance the visit to the rooftop bar, because it's open for everyone. When staying at this hotel I recommend to visit the rooftop bar, but they don't let you go up if the place if full.

Good location in Bern. Nice hotel and rooms are good. Rooftop terrace is very nice for a drink and snack! Everything on walking distance and good to reach.

no parking or valet service at hotel; had to park far away with luggage and pay; difficult to get to hotel; no bel service; streets are crowded and cars are limited in that area; would have preferred to stay outside City and bus in; staff kept changing our room price and did not include breakfast in our price (raised the price and didn't give us breakfast; stated the price changed based on availability and they were full; so the price would be lower the next week and would have included breakfast

Nowhere to open suitcases. Our door was right on the corridor wall, could hear a lot of pipes / water moving through them during the evening. Had to wear ear plugs. Having to also pay so much for parking and move the car by 9am meant we had to be up early, check out and get on the road which didn’t really allow us to enjoy our stay or sleep in. Based on this I probably wouldn’t book again.

Room is a bit small.

Good location：not far from train station on foot, close to bus stop, near main streets and zytglogge. Next to a coop super market. Nice staff: always with warm smile, try their best to help us. Clean room: every corner is clean! Equipped with nespresso machines. Bottled water(gazed and still). Welcome chocolate. Nice breakfast: multiple choices.bread and smoke salmon are delicious.

The bathroom is not my style. The shower and toilet are in the same location with a sliding glass door. Does not give you very much privacy.

The location is great and the room was very comfortable. The rooftop bar with the view of Bern was incredible. Glad it had air conditioning. Not very common in Switzerland.

Our room looked out on an internal courtyard although our family’s room had a lovely view across town. The Wi-Fi was not very stable in our room.

The hotel was very comfortable and well-positioned in the centre of Bern.

We were 3 adults in a room using the sofa bed but found the space quite generous. Beds and pillows were comfy and the room was very clean. Location was ideal, with Coop supermarket downstairs and Main Street a block away and Bern is easy to get around on foot or bus/tram.

The location was amazing for exploring the city on foot, the hotel is in the centre for everything and yet on a quiet street with no noise at night. The room was spotlessly clean and modern, light and airy with excellent beds. Loved the rooftop bar and the nespresso coffee machine.

A beautifully renovated hotel with large, modern rooms at a good location. The rooftop bar topped the experience. The staff in the breakfast room and rooftop bar were very helpful.

Great room! Great location! We were met with welcome chocolates (always a fan fave!). Loved our little balcony that looked over some rooftops. Breakfast had a wide variety and was delicious. Our favorite part was the rooftop bar, that we frequented each evening. Lovely view of the city and delicious drinks!
