During my stay at stattHotel, I found a few small downsides worth mentioning. The room was on the smaller side, which might feel a bit tight if you’re carrying larger luggage. At night, there was some noise coming from the bar area and the busy streets outside, which could bother light sleepers.

I stayed one night at stattHotel in Zurich, and I really appreciated its location. It’s right in the Old Town, just steps away from restaurants, bars, shopping, and the river, perfect for sightseeing and getting around by foot. My room felt clean and modern, with handy extras like a Nespresso machine. The check-in process was smooth even without a front desk, and the staff were welcoming and friendly, which made the stay very pleasant.

The heat. The a/c couldn’t cool the suite down. It was still sweaty and uncomfortable at 3am. I realize there was a heat wave. Having oscillating fans in the downstairs bedroom and common area would have helped. I slept on the couch because the downstairs bedroom was so hot that I started having anxiety. Having curtains to keep the sun out would also help with the heat.

We loved the attic suite. It was a perfect fit for our group of four! The location was fantastic, and having an elevator to reach the suite was great. I thought we’d have to drag our bags upstairs, but it turned out that only one bed required walking up the stairs. We loved the coffee maker and the refrigerator! I would absolutely recommend this suite to someone traveling during a more comfortable time.

Although it was a "quiet room" it's still pretty noisy until after midnight due to there being a bar on the street level. With the windows closed the sound level really wasn't too bad though and earplugs were also provided.

Fantastic location in the old part of town steps from excellent restaurants and shopping in a secure building. The person who checked us in was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had a fridge and coffee maker. Very clean bathroom with nice towels. It was perfect for an overnight stay in Zurich.

I didn’t like that the entry for the rooms was right by the cocktail bar’s outdoor space. It was kind of awkward (and smoky). And there were big bags of laundry left on the steps for both days we were there.

The bed is too soft (our opinion) and the room has a minimum size (normal in city center like this!). We faced troubles with the Nespresso machine which did not stop (not normal) and water was overflowing as we did not pay attention. We cleaned all but could not tell the owner as the reception ( in the bar) was closed. We will send a separate message directly to the property to tell the room number.

The location is perfect. In the city center, close to cafes, restaurants and in a small street. It was quiet. It is 10 mn walk to the main train station. The room is fine even if a bit small. The shower is great: strong water pressure even on the 4th floor! Coffee is available in the room. The check in and check out (keys in a box) were really easy. A good place to stay for a short break in the city center.

When leaving the room, the electricity is switch off as the access card activate the electricity. The fridge then also start defrosting and everything is defrosted and warm at night when we got back to the hotel.

Small room and has a bar downstairs. Not recommended for persons with more than 1 luggage or light sleepers.

Clean room, hospitable staff and an unbeatable location with the river and Lindenhof Hill right in front of your eyes once you step out of the hotel and walk a few steps to the street. About a 10-min walk from Zurich HB. Roughly the same walking time too to reach Lake Zurich or Bahnhofstrasse. Allows luggage storage after check-out.

The room was pretty basic and tiny, clean and very ok, all you need, but not fancy. of experience you would pay half price for this standard in any other country, but it is maybe switzerland and it was eurovision time.

We were specially taken by the hospitality, flexibility and service-mindness of the administrator. The location was superb. Quiet room, no noises from the parting street.

The location was great. 15 minute walk from train station. It’s located near loads of great food places and the views are nice. The room itself was decent size. The water was hot, the tv worked, it had a fridge coffee machine and tea. The guy that checked me in was really friendly and because my room was ready I was able to check in early which was amazing. There’s a cocktail bar next door that is also run by the hotel. Overall it was nice
