The location, close to the lake and train station.

As a hotel guest you are entitled to a city pass for all public transport which we did not receive and had to ask for which would have saved us money and hassle. We got this pass 2 days before check out. The breakfast was terrible!

Travelled as a group to take in the sights of the old town so needed a base near the area. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk and is ideally located for seeing the sights of Geneva. Very clean, very modern inside and great location.

Brilliant location. Walking distance from the main station and very close to the lake and most of Geneva's attractions on a relatively quiet city street. We received a room upgrade upon arrival, and our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was a slight issue with the ac unit in our room leaking water onto the floor, but when notified the staff immediately cleaned up the water and tried to fix the problem, when they could not fix the leak a technician was called and the problem sorted. A great place to stay in Geneva.

The location was perfect, close to public transport and lots of great restaurants. We also loved that the hotel partners with Geneva Tourism and provided us with a voucher for free public transport for our whole stay – such a bonus. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and our room was spacious with excellent air conditioning, which made it very comfortable. Highly recommend Hotel Rousseau for a stay in Geneva!

    Nothing comes to mind.

Very close to the train station bus station and the lake . Comfortable bed . Staff were helpful.

Could do with a little bit of modernisation in the corridor areas. Replace shower curtains.

    Location

The fact that we had no glasses in the room and had one plastic cup to share between two of us . We had to ask for glasses each day we were there . The tea and coffee was not replaced note was the milk. For the amount of money we paid we had poor facilities. The breakfast was poor and we had to ask for eggs then wait until they were boiled and then only given one or two . They begrudgingly gave me another one when I asked . I don’t have cereal and not keen on the other food presented . The aircon was not working properly and when asked about it they said it was a hot day . Cramped room and very uncomfortable. Failed to clean on one of the days and we were told they had gone home . Poor poor poor

    Location. Size of rooms.

The fact that they are so stingy that they give you exactly two coffee pods and then you have to pay. Not even a daily refresh of a couple of pods. They also made us pay extra claiming we had booked single occupancy. Which made little sense. But we paid. All in all wouldn’t stay there again.

I loved loved loved the beautiful room and the most fabulous service people. There was a front desk lady I absolutely adored and was most helpful to me when I was checking in and out with my little sister.

Nothing. Beautiful location, beautiful room, and service.

The Air conditioner in our room was faulty, as soon as the room cooled to 22 degrees it turned off and did not restart automatically. I had to keep doing this manually all night long during a European heatwave. And the only control was on the wall on the other side of the room…. The window inside our room, to the stairwell had no curtains to block out the bright exterior night light. We had a very disrupted, hot and bright sleep. We only stayed the one night!
