Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

AustraliaAs a hotel guest you are entitled to a city pass for all public transport which we did not receive and had to ask for which would have saved us money and hassle. We got this pass 2 days before check out. The breakfast was terrible!

AustraliaBrilliant location. Walking distance from the main station and very close to the lake and most of Geneva's attractions on a relatively quiet city street. We received a room upgrade upon arrival, and our room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There was a slight issue with the ac unit in our room leaking water onto the floor, but when notified the staff immediately cleaned up the water and tried to fix the problem, when they could not fix the leak a technician was called and the problem sorted. A great place to stay in Geneva.

AustraliaThe fact that they are so stingy that they give you exactly two coffee pods and then you have to pay. Not even a daily refresh of a couple of pods. They also made us pay extra claiming we had booked single occupancy. Which made little sense. But we paid. All in all wouldn’t stay there again.

United KingdomAll the staff ( M Ahmed, Mms Shamsa, and their lady colleague......etc) were brilliant in their customer service. They were very friendly, helpful, courteous, professional, and informative. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is 2nd to none. Very close to the lake, the commercial and shopping district, the old town, the railway station, the trams and buses, and even to the town's main coach station. The swimming areas and beaches are within walking distances. The crêperie linked to it ( including its friendly staff) complements the hotel. Definitely, it's location is one of the main selling points of this small minimalistic hotel.

United KingdomNeeded to ask toilet paper at the reception, had only 1 or 2 for the full stay. But the overall was OK. The breakfast was fair, but it is not included, It could have scrambled eggs.
The location was very convenient, close to the bus stop to go to the airport, tram to ONU, walking down the street you are at the lake, walking distance to old town crossing the bridge. Next to a shopping centre with a lot of different options on the 5th floor to have lunch was super. I hope someone told me this, as I found out only on the last day. They kept our luggage safe after check out. I would stay again.

IrelandNot finished to a particularly high standard eg could see areas were walls and been spot painted. Large stain on carpet on first floor. Air conditioner filter needed changing so was blowing dust around the room. Had to pay for any more than the initial 2 Nespresso capsules given in your room which was a bit tight as these are usually provided free in hotels.
