We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Singapore1. Rooms are not provided with basic facilities such as dental kit , had to call house keeping for every little item , 2 . I was then told by reception to list all items I would like so housekeeping person doesn’t need to keep bring in them one by one , if the hotel kept these items in the room . We wouldn’t need to call housekeeping at all 3 . Therefore this stay did not feel like blue for money and wasn’t 4-5* service level at all

But the person on reception was not informed and even could not find the booking. Luckily I could text the reservation and resolved. Just was a little strange as I had emphasised his late arrival

SwitzerlandWhen we reserved the room we asked for a baby cot for our toddler and it was not there when we arrived. We asked again but were told that they do not have any. Also claimed that we did not provided age of the child which was not true- I checked and I did it twice- once when I made reservation and second time in my message when I specifically asked for it. We ended up sleeping together in one bed always stressed that she wakes up and fell down. So it was not really great night and at the end we could have just spare ourselves additional costs and travel from home to the airport. Also prior to the arrival we asked for advice regarding long term parking possibilities and we never got the answer.
Hotel is very practical, just at the airport, close to the check in. We had an early flight and it worked good. It is very nice and modern. Room was big, nicely furnished and comfortable. I liked that they provided coffee and croissants in the morning.

United StatesWhen we checked in there was someone being helped beside us that came back down apparently after being given his key saying they gave him a dirty room and he needs another. I felt bad for him, that happens I thought. We got our room key and went up to someone elses room. Literally I opened the door and someone else already was occupying that room. Their luggage was all open and out. I quickly closed the door and went back downstairs. The people checking us in did give us a different room and apologized but I wondered with 2 of us in a matter of minutes had uncleaned or occupied rooms how many others that happened to. Not sure what was going on with their system but also did not make me feel safe leaving our room the next day and someone able to walk in. We put a sign up saying do not clean hoping if someone had the wrong room key they would get the hint it was occupied.
We loved that this hotel was very accessible to the airport. Early morning flight it was helpful and I was put at ease to know I just had to get up and walk to airport. The bed and room was comfortable. The staff was ok.

United StatesThere was no bodywash soap in the bottle. We had to use the shampoo to take a shower. The tub did not drain during the shower, and the tub slowly filled halfway up my legs and drained very slowly, probably taking up to 15 minutes after the shower to completely drain. The facility met my expectations except for the above issues.

CanadaThe air conditioning made the room feel damp but we got used to it. The restaurant for dinner was excellent but it was a bit expensive. This is typical of all decent restaurants in Switzerland, though.
Beautiful hotel. Tunnel to the airport was super convenient. Breakfast was excellent.

United StatesThe check in was scheduled for 2 pm. We had arrived by noon and were told that the room was not ready and required cleaning. This is understandable. When we arrived at 3 pm, the room had been cleaned but had not been inspected as per the same young lady that we had met originally who we were later informed was an intern in training. Never an apology or a sorry. Stated as a matter of fact. Was never allowed to complete registration formalities pending room allocation (requested by me to save some time ). Finally got the room around 3.45pm. (Late by 1.45 hours). When we entered, the room had a maintainence cart in the center that had not been carted away. Work to fix a bathroom rod was completed thereafter while we sat there. Spoke to manager = sikander. Once again he failed to understand our frustrations at the delays. A simple “Sorry at your experience” would have sufficed. Instead got a ridiculous excuse that the delay in room preparation was because the previous occupant had not exited in time and the hotel cannot do nothing about it. My problem and not the hotels problem !!!!. Next day room was cleaned around mid afternoon while we had to wait in the lobby. The soap containers were near empty and we had to request a fill up. At check out after 2 nights, the young lady seemed visibly tired, and sleepy and yawning in our faces as we exited. The staff could do with some hospitality training and a course in “crucial conversations “
