Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very good vegan breakfast options, beautiful breakfast room, and location close to University of Zurich, the funicular up to Dolder area, but also the centre of Zurich. All staff were polite and most very friendly. Yoga mat and requested fridge in our room were great. Lovely Seder (made in Zurich products) in the bathroom. Hotel also operates a vegetarian take-away with vegan options at lunch.

SwedenI believe the room had no air conditioner, but since it was unusually cool and rainy during my stay in the end of July, it wasn't an issue for me - I slept with an open window. Beds are too soft for me, but it's individual.
It's a good hotel and a great value for money for Zurich. I came for a conference and I liked the location close to the University. Pretty quiet and relaxing. Good Italian food at the restaurant.

United KingdomThe bathroom was quite small. The heat caused the room to be a bit stuffy, there was a fan in the room, but it was just recycling hot air. Nothing major - just little things.
Decent location, close to the tram links and only 5-10 minutes into the centre of Zurich about 20 mins for a nice walk in. The staff were nice and friendly/ helpful.

Nicely decorated hotel and rooms. The room came with a very modern bathroom including rain shower. Bed was comfortable. We did enjoy a nice breakfast too. Location is good, by the way, as it is in a nice neighborhood and at walking distance from the Hauptbahnhof / city centre. It’s great to know this place for my next trip to Zurich. :)

Good location - quiet but only 15 -20 min walk to city centre. Rooms was simple but comfortable and staff were very pleasant. We had breakfast which was buffet with fresh and local produce - all good.
