Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomA bit far from town centre. Self-Check in without on site staff could be tricky for those not digitally savvy eg older people. Next to construction site and gets noisy in the morning. Air conditioning didn’t work and have mosquitoes when opened window. Some instructions on how to operate electric window blind would be helpful.
Spacious, clean and have a lot of facilities in and outside of room including useful conference/work space. Good WiFi and TV. Bed comfortable. Near supermarket and bus stop.

NetherlandsThere are high fines if the fire alarm is set off by accident. So be aware when you are cooking. Luckily it did not happen during oud stay.
It was very clean, the bed was good. It is perfect that you get an ov card to travel to the city. You get there by ten minutes. The kitchen has decent equipment. The bathroom is nice. We also used the washing machine and they were perfectly clean. Because of the heat we also went to the nearby public (free!) swimming pool. It was a really short walk, you could see los lorentes from there. Just overall great!

SingaporeHousekeeping had different standards and didn’t really clean the room, just reorgansing the items, like there were days where two bath towels was replaced but there were days where only one bath towel was replaced.
The staff allowed us to leave our bags in their office and collect them when we check in to our room. The staff replied to our request for a fan as the room was not air conditioned and it was really hot, and sent a bladeless fan which was great.

MalaysiaService can be improved. Should have more efficient support after working hours. Not every tourist has local number to make phone calls to seek for help from hotel. You need to have aircond operated during summer. Or else the room is warm and stuffy.
The room is big with a balcony. It was a cosy stay with less noise. Though there was barely air-conditioning in the room, but I still able to open windows to have some fresh air.

United StatesThe staff is unfriendly and seemed irritated when asked a question. Check-in is by a kiosk. It doesn’t allow to check it 2 rooms at 1 time. Need to check-in separately for each room. We were a family with minors and our rooms were on different floors, even though it was requested due to having minors. The staff said, that we were checking in late. It was no later than 6pm. If they are unable to secure 2 rooms adjacent, then what is the point of having a section when booking for requests. After, I told the staff that we are a family with minor and left the office, she was gossiping with her colleagues. Little did she know, I speak multiple languages. The check in at the kiosk is awful. Why have 3 staffs members in an office if they can’t check you in. The rooms are extremely stuffy, poor circulation. No air conditioning.

IcelandThe self check-in didn't work no matter what we tried. Staff helped us out, and after much deliberation it turned out that we had to enter space after my surname in the system (which didn't make much sense to me). It worked out, but would have been a problem if we'd been there after the staff had left (after 8 p.m.). Parking is not available unless you book it in advance so we had to park at a public lot a few minutes walk away. There is currently a construction zone right next to the hotel (which they probably can't do much about). Work started around 6 a.m. with very loud banging and the like.
Good hotel in terms of our needs and expectations at the time - good value for money near Bern. Clean, modern and the staff was helpful to us when we had trouble with the self check-in.
