The house has slightly tiled foundations, so you need to be a bit careful climbing up the stairs. The ceiling in my room was a little low, so taller people might need to be more cautious.

It's in an excellent location with many branches of public transport very close to the house. The houses and surrounding architecture are very charming, and it's perfect if you're a researcher visiting ETH or the University of Zurich, trying to save some money. The property has a great kitchen and impeccable shower facilities (the quality was surprising, since they are, after all, shared).

area of town was very quiet with few shops. this wasnt the best value for money as its essentially a hostel but at hotel prices (though recognise Zurich is more pricey than other EU cities)- the rooms were a bit tired- the check in process was fine when it happened but relied on sending texts with the information which came quite late. that said it was comfortable enough.

I was quite worried as I hadn't received contact or code for getting key etc 30 mins before check in. No answer on phone, no responses to messages. It made for a worrying wait to be honest. The shared bathroom got soaked by people showing and they didn't dry it which isn't an accommodation issue, but frustrating

Had no issues with the stay itself. Room was bigger than I expected, double bed instead of single. Towels left. Very clean. Shared bathroom was fine too. People mentioned in reviews about the noise etc. Which didn't or wouldn't bother me but it's worth consideration if that would impact your sleep. Overall no complaints about the room etc.

My room was on the top floor and was very hot when I entered it. There’s no AC and they just give you a fan.

Good value for money. Location is ok given the price, a bit far from the center but it was well served by public transport. The rooms were clean and the self check-in/out was very straight forward.

Shared bathroom (one between 3 rooms ) was not great - had to wait considerably for access. The place is completely unstaffed, so there is no-one on hand to ask, or assist with problems.

Next to a tram stop, with direct line to the main station (20 minutes). Clean and comfortable room. Kitchen well equipped.
