Everything was perfect. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfasts of fresh fruit, meat, cheese and home-made breads. The room was very comfortable and quiet. There was a table and chairs on the balcony, from which we had an amazing view of the countryside. The hotel is within walking distance of the station, with trains to St. Gallen and Appenzell. We look forward to staying there again. Highly recommend.

Everything was wonderful — the location is perfect, close to both St. Gallen and Appenzell. The property offers stunning views and a delicious breakfast each morning. The managers were truly exceptional — so helpful, kind, and welcoming. I’m very grateful for such a lovely stay!

The staff were friendly and helpful with planning and suggestions. They recommended the Schnuggebock restaurant (only accessible by car), which was a fun experience and good food. The mini bar in the room was useful. The lobby had a good selection of snacks and drinks. The view was fantastic and the sleep was quiet. The location is perfect for visiting the Ebenalp area, which is not to be missed. Free parking.

There isn't anything negative to say

The breakfast was very nice you can pick from a wide range of cheeses and meats witch is quite a change from the standard English breakfast but definitely worth it.perfict scenery with a view of the snowy mountains of Switzerland that you can see from your room on a clear day. Showers are spectacular; nice hot water , very clean, free soap and fresh towels. What more do you want.

The room was hot upon arrival. No air conditioning. We had to use a fan that was in the hallway to cool it down. There was a small window with a screen that helped too. But to walk into the room and it be so hot was uncomfortable. (Visited in early September)

The staff were fantastic and very accommodating! Parking was easy and free. Our room was clean with a great balcony that looked out to the Santis Mountain. Great shower/water pressure! We had a nice night of sleep and enjoyed the breakfast spread.

The view from our room. The room was spacious. Good parking for our motorcycle. The manager was able to let us into our room even though we arrived earlier than expected. Excellent breakfast.
