Beautiful location with views over Berne and the Alps...great walks ...Bantiger Tower, a ½ hour walk away, is worth climbing for amazing views to the Alps and the Jura as well as Berne and the Seeland

Loved the view & staff was very friendly.

A bit inaccesible from Bern (must hike up or hire taxi to reach the accomodation from Stetllen)

The hotel had great views, but that is the end of the good news

Our room was a store room for furniture without any suitable lights, the bed had not sheets, just a mattress cover. The food was deep fried, the breakfast was presented on one plate, no choice given. We left after 1 night, we had been booked in for 2 nights.

Scenic view over the mountains Outside Bern, but still close to the city Parking Cappuccino and good breakfast (but quality of bread could be better) Good bed, relatively new matrass, I slept well. Reasonable price, as most hotel in Bern are expensive and parking here was free.

Self checkin when arrive late, 10pm, in the dark. At first was difficult to find the keybox, although located in front of hotel but very dark, recomendation for the owner to leave a light switched on neaar the keybox or install a sensor light. Then the entrance is a door on the right side. In general is is an older hotel, but clean. Do not expect any luxery. Ventilator in bathroom, room 5 did not switch off, luckely I always have earplugs when traveling.

beware there are corn fields opposite and flies and mozzies can be an issue. one of our party had several bites

Breakfast was good with a nice selection of bread, meat and cheese and a boiled egg. Juice and cappuccinos were good. View from the room was of the rural area all the way to the mountains. Nice quiet location with GREAT free parking. Dining room was nice and comfy and a good hang. Plenty of menu choices and the prices were good.

Not a fan of shared bathrooms but there was a sink and the shared shower and bathroom areas were spotless clean.

Good value for money. Beautiful view from the window of nature, Bern, and the mountains. The room had many windows, covering an entire wall! If you have your own transport, it's relatively close to Bern. There is a restaurant downstairs.

The room is a bit worn out. The breakfast is too basic, clearly not enough. No elevator. Check-in took a long time: they couldn't find the reservation.

With regard to transport to arrival. I flew from YUL Montreal to Geneva GVA took a train from GVA to Bern Train Staition. Then took a car from Bern Train Station to the hotel Aplenblick. Easy as pie. THe veiw is excellent, quite, surrounded by farms and cornfields. BUT lterally 15 minutes from Bern. I choose to have breakfast included which turned out to be a very good choice.

The views, the traquillity and the staff were amazing knowing lots of important languages.

This place is dreamy. Very clean. The staff were very professional, attentive, and friendly. Breakfast was perfect and well-served. They were Very respectful. They have a coffee-bar/ restaurant serving very delicious but a bit expensive food and ice cream. View was amazing and very beautiful. The neighbours also all kind and greeting.

All was fine totally. If it happens we would love to stay there again. We liked them.
