Such a relaxed and friendly hostel but with clear rules/expectations that ensured everyone staying there was comfortable and happy. Loved the colourful, cheerful decor, and the host was lovely. Good facilities and in a great central location. The bed was so comfy.

Nothing at all - couldnt have asked for more. I would certainly stay here again if I was visiting Zurich.

Every thing is excellent

I paid friendly hostel zurich two times for an over night stay by mistake of mine/booking.com .at first i transfered the amount 63.84 euro but booking was'nt done and second time i have to pay 74.48 euro for the same over night booking . I requested to the owner voucaly/byemail for return of my 63.84 euro's but he replied to contact Booking.com . I emailed/text severel times to booking.com's team but there is no reply till now So please deal the matter towards solution . Thank you

It was clean and write in the middle of a peaceful part of the city. Close to the water and walkable to everything.

The owner was pleasant. And the place was clean and well-kept. Good place.

I had to climb up to the next 2 floors for the bathroom. That was a bit inconvenient.

Clean bathrooms and toilets . And is very close to Zurich HB. The personal are very kind as well

They should have at least two fans in every room. And like 10 francs for early check in??? What a robbery. I just wanted to drop off my bags

Flew into Zurich late in evening and needed a place to sleep before catching train out in morning. Hostel is centrally located and affordable. It was comfortable and I slept well.

Kitchen was pretty small, just enough room to boil a kettle.

It was very comfortable and the rooms offered a good amount of privacy, it was also very clean and the owner was kind

The worst worst thing is the staff. She is so so rude and NON COOPERATIVE at all. As u book the stay she will text u that check in is within 4-10 pm only or u will pay extra 10CHF. And she charges u 10 CHF even if u reached early and don’t want to check in and want to keep the luggage only in reception like any other hotel or hostel. They don’t let u check in early but atleast keep ur luggage with them till check in time. But she don’t let u for that else u pay 10CHF. Next as u check in she will give u too much instructions and DONTS as ur student and she is the teacher Next check out:- when check out she will let u keep luggage but wont let u sit in the hostel I mean the common area which is on the roof top a very small room type area coz that area she has rented to someone local guy there for long term basis and im not sure the owner of the property know this or not ???? 2:- The other worst thing apart of the staff is that hostel is having too many stairs. Too many means too many. Imagine that only the reception is on the 2nd floor means u go up in very narrow stairs for 2 floors for just no reason then usually the room given is on the 4th floor after reception which makes u feel dizzy coz each floor is having only one room and for toilet u will go to other floor

I felt welcomed and information conveyed to me clearly about checking in and out also what was expectedduring my stay.

The hostel in in the middle of busy area with restaurants so could be noisy. However after closedown all the noise dies.

The rooms were spacious

The price was a lot for the space I must say, also having to pay 10 Frank to store luggage wasn’t ideal the day of check in

The location is amazing and the staff super friendly and helpful.

The cost is too much for a bunk bed in an 8-bed mixed dormitory and the toilet facilities not quite enough
