How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Unfortunately cannot open windows for fresh air.
Clean. Decent rooms. They had areas where people could hang out and have fun in a group/with their kids/etc. This meant that the rest of the hotel was QUIET!!! So great! Good sized rooms. Comfortable beds. Decent breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to highway. Would recommend.

I dont often have them but this place was a perfect stay.
The location was perfect for visiting the Canadian 1000 Islands. The Hotel was very clean and everything was in perfect working condition. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I got the strong impression that they wanted to make sure my stay was perfect. I felt so comfortable and at home here. The breakfast was excellent. Many cha=oices and all tasted great. Fantastic coffee available 24/7. I felt very safe at this properties. The value for the money was spot on. I do like Booking.com for the search capability and getting me a good deal.

Nobody answered my mail a few days before the stay. The most terrible thing was the breakfast: bad organized, crowded, terrible quality, in the same place as the reception. 211€ for this? You are joking. In Spain we are not used to this

The pillows were a little on the flat size.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very modern and clean. The location is a perfect location for cyclists want to ride the waterfront trail to Brockville or any of the cute towns I between.

Every staff member was kind and courteous. The breakfast bar was replenished promptly so there was no need to wait. We were very happy with our stay.

The beds were really rather high which made getting into them a challenge for elderly and young family members. The addition of a more comfortable chair would be a bonus. Its not comfortable to sit in an office chair if you wake up before your room mate .

Again a brand new property so it seems like they are still working on adding stuff to the rooms and the outdoor patio. And working out the kinks.

We didn't request a room cleanup during our stay. It was nice though to get fresh towels, etc but did not like the fact they changed the thermostat setting so when we got back it was not as cold as we hoped but no biggie.
Being a new hotel, it was very nice. The room was spacious enough for the 2 of us. The bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was breakfast. Coffee was decent!

Banging of exit door near the room was annoying. The air conditioner had a real rattle in it and it was only two weeks old.
Location off 401 was great. Room was bery clean and modern.

I was charged 336.45 on July 13 which included the $100 security deposit and charged another 236.45 for the room on departure. Should be receiving a credit for the 336.45
The breakfast was very good. We picked the location mainly for visiting the Casino.

For our very first stay, there’s nothing I can say I didn’t like.
The lobby was exceptionally clean with a beautiful modernized business and family feel to it. This hotel is 100% accessible from specific rooms to even having a lift in the pool area for someone with limited mobility to get in and out of the pool. I’ve never been to a hotel that provided this service. The complimentary breakfast had a delicious choice of healthy food items. Worth the price and the experience! Close to the casino and all the beautiful wonders of this small hidden gem of a town. 10/10!!
