How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Air conditioning extremely loud, turned off. Was summer and a little hot in room a fan would’ve been sufficient.
Self contained. On the quieter side of Vancouver, near beaches and out of city hustle and noise. Prioritised our check in to earlier to due our early morning arrival.

The air conditioner located close to the kitchen wasn't set up properly causing hot air coming inside.

Recycling not only ell organised and food waste had to be kept in kitchen bin for 6 days.
Close to area we wanted to use.

Room bit dark and outdated but still considerably fine.
Really enjoy the neighborhood, only 1 alley away the Davie St. main area but surprisingly it’s a very neighborhood. Big spacious room with proper amenities.

The location was perfect! Near enough to the bustle of the city, great cafes, stores and shopping nearby, and public transportation (direct bus to skytrain to the airport). At night, it was quiet and felt like a calm residential area, the kitchen was fully equipped. As a family of four, it was ideal as it was big enough to give everyone a little place of their own. There is a balcony that may be daunting for those with younger children, but the door latch was reasonably secure, and an elevator was available to aid with tired feet at the end of the day.

Despite being a Marriot member because I had used booking.com to book I couldn't get any points for my stay. One of the reasons I booked the hotel.
Hotel was one I'd stayed in before it changed hands. The room was perfectly sized, clean and quiet. No real view beyond the carpark behind the building but that was to be expected. Hotel was well placed next to Davie Street for easy access to food and bars. Enjoyable hotel.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. It was too bouncy n sank in the middle.

It doesn’t look great from the outside but it is good inside. The property is not ideal if you are using public transport although there are buses on Davie St, but many travelers are reluctant to use buses, especially with cases.
The apartment was comfortable and the rooms were a decent size. The on-site laundry was easy to use. We liked the fact that there were staff at the property during office hours. The proximity to shops and restaurants on Davie St is great.

Nice quiet location, which is close enough to walk into Vancouver central or the beach. Apartment was plenty big enough for two people, the free coffee (with machine) was a bonus.

It's a little bit of a walk into downtown Vancouver (about 25 - 30 minutes).
Self catering apartment - well supplied kitchen, very clean, very comfortable. Staff helpful and polite. Nice balcony with seats.

We enjoyed the location, within an easy walk of downtown Vancouver and plenty of dining options nearby. The room was well appointed, all we needed for a two night stay after a long flight. Front desk staff were super friendly and communication was great - with clear access instructions.
