Great inexpensive option. Perfect if you need to save money but don't want to tent camp.

Running water and a shower would make this the PRRFECT stay

Great venue, very basic, good size kitchen and excellent common room with games and a fire place. Loved the sauna after a long day hike. Good wifi in the evening

Apart from the price everything else was great

    Property response:

We do our best to keep operational costs as low as possible to offer affordable prices, so we’re sorry the price point wasn’t quite to your liking. Everything else

Crampy sleeping quarters, up all night because of someone snoring but what can you do. Larger kitchen would be nice too.

    Property response:

Thank you for your honest feedback. We’re sorry to hear the sleeping quarters felt cramped and that noise affected your rest—unfortunately, snoring is one of those things that’s hard to control! We appreciate your suggestion about a larger kitchen and will keep it in mind as we look for ways to improve. :)

I loved the wilderness vibe of it, and that it was very warm and had a fully equipped kitchen, as well as water, kettles, functioning stove, sauna, and plenty of space in living and main areas.

I liked everything, it would be nice if the beds had a curtain like some hostels for added privacy, but other than that, I enjoyed it a lot.

    Property response:

Thank you so much for sharing your amazing experience, Afnan! Glad the Wilderness vibe suited you! Welcome back any time! Happy travels, Janice (HI Canada)

The location is very good and we liked the vibe. This is a facility aimed at active people that don't care about luxury. All the necessary aids and tools are available for your comfort.

Our neighbours had some parenting problems over their children. This is not a place for being loud or disrespectful to the instructions given by the property manager.

    Property response:

Thanks for your feedback, Remy. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again one day!

The fire alarms, they go off just if you boil water

Clean, comfortable, warm rooms and common area. Well stocked kitchen, sauna was fun. Not nearly as wilderness as might be expected, even an hour of wifi per night if the sun was good enough to charge the solar battery. Good location for some hikes in the area.

No complaints, except some of the dorm beds are a bit short even for a regular height person like me.

    Property response:

We hope to see you again soon!

Lars, the manager is nice and helpful. We stayed in the cabin which has two family rooms and a shared kitchen. There is lighting in the form of LED lights and USB charging ports (solar-powered); and potable water from a well (filtered and tested daily). The refrigerator and oven/stove are gas-powered. No electricity so no microwave. No cell reception so no data coverage but there was WiFi access provided for an hour each night from 830-930pm. The sauna was a nice addition especially on cold nights. There is a creek by the property and on the other side is a public campground. Toilets are in an outhouse and are clean.

No showers but we only stayed one night so that wasn't a big deal.

    Property response:

Thanks, Steven. Lars is a great guy! Thanks for the feedback!

Cheap and accessible hostel with a good kitchen and communal fire. Beautiful surrounds and friendly staff.

Hostel style room with bunks were a little challenging to get up into and out of quietly.

    Location

Toilets in separate building, no lights at night. Thought th was no running water, but cabin had a kitchen, which we hadn't prepared for. Signs to poor, went to campsite in error, and took wrong road in parking place. We were not the only ones!

    Manager was very nice.

Wifi was supposedly on for an hour at night, but this was spotty. One Chinese contingent was very loud and turned up heat in cabin to 30.

    Property response:

Thanks for your feedback Walter. We hope you come back soon.
