Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesHard to find a taxi after 8pm to head into the main town area since it’s on the quieter part of town.
Loved the property’s aesthetics and cleanliness, and the welcoming staff. Beautiful property. Very well taken care of. I appreciated the fact it was a little removed from the busy block because it provided a quiet escape when needed. The pools were great. Super convenient bike rental on the property. I liked the dock and having access to kayaks and paddle boards for free.

United StatesOur apartment door was facing the restaurant, so no real porch privacy.
Weezies is a cool property off the main road with games, kayaks, a pool and different kinds of cottages. 24 hour WhatsApp help, reasonably priced rental bikes, help with golf cart taxis. There is a really good restaurant and lovely yoga studio, Ceiba, on the grounds as well. All of the staffers are kind and efficient. We loved lounging at the docks.

United StatesWeezie’s is a beautiful hotel with two room options: 1) on the beach in a hotel room and 2) in a private cottage a 6 minute walk from the main hotel. We stayed in the cottage. It was incredibly peaceful, with beautiful foliage and a great pool. The cottage had a bedroom, living room/dining room, and small kitchen, which was perfect. The kitchen is fully stocked, and has a stove, microwave, oven, coffee machine, and toaster. The hotel has a wonderful private dock with ocean access, 3 well-maintained pools, a cafe, and even an attached yoga studio. They also offer free paddle boards and kayaks, bikes for rent, and snorkeling trips. Weezie’s is located about 15 minutes south of the main downtown area, making it easy to walk to restaurants and tour companies, while enjoying a more local and quiet experience. The staff is wonderful (thanks Danica and Silvan!), and will help you with anything you need. I would highly recommend!

United StatesVery clean facilities. We had a spacious room with full kitchen above the pool looking out over the ocean with glorious sunrises. The staff were all wonderful. This is a full shop resort. They provided us a snorkeling trip on their boat. John the skipper is a very experienced diver and took us to several wonderful locations. Well worth booking. They also rent bikes which you will want if you wish to go to the north side of the island.

United StatesIf I had to choose anything, the first stay there we were a golf cart ride away from the main cottages so it was a little further from everything but we enjoy walking and didn’t mind. There are also golf cart taxis you can take to get back to town if it’s raining or not. At the end of our trip we staying in a king suite cottage on the main property and it was really nice being right next to the restaurant and a little closer to town which we could just walk the beach to get to.
The whole property is clean and well kept. They offer paddle boards, kayaks and bikes at no extra charge. The restaurant is adorable and we never had a bad meal! Do yourself a favor and get the Frappuccino with Bailey’s, heavenly. Adelma and Shamira were always there smiling and became our friends. The young gal at the front desk too (her name starts with D) has a special place in our hearts. They all go out of their way! Complimentary yoga twice daily under a pergola right on the beach. Beach massaged off the dock or in your room. And pools, pick your favorite. The staff is delightful, so polite, considerate and you can tell they love their jobs. It’s very safe and comfortable. Extra bonus is the cats that are cared for who make appearances around the property and you can tell are living their best lives.

United StatesThe distance away from the cottages (where I stayed) was a bit far. For those who stay in the cottages, I think the bicycles should be free. It is too far to walk to get a morning coffee or an evening bar drink for the room. Also - as someone who gets up early and likes to have coffee in the room, I could not really do that. I tried riding the bicycle to get my coffee, but it just spilled all over and was cold by the time I got back to my room. Would it be possible to have a coffee station at the cottages? That would be really nice.
The cottage room was great. The staff was excellent and responsive.
