We wanted to stay near the beach but the sea weed was really bad and smelled bad.

Unfortunately the room was not ready at the communicated check in time at 3 PM. The other guy from the staff was a little moody sometimes. When we picked up the luggage later he seemed to be unhappy with our luggage and said that they never store guests luggage.

Complimentary coffee was not consistently available on site early in the morning as we were told it would be, but a great coffee shop, Ice and Beans, is literally across the street and became our go-to spot. One staff person seemed like we were imposing on him whenever we asked him questions, but all the others were fabulous.

A sunrise met us each morning across the street, which was beautiful. We got up each morning to greet it.

The bed isn't that comfortable and the soundproofing between the 1st floor and 2nd floor is terrible. We were woken up by the upstairs neighbours often. If you can, try and get a room in the back of the property on the 2nd level! It was an expensive stay, but not overly expensive compared to other places.

The location is perfect, if you are in one of the rooms in the back of the property. I can imagine that being near the main road, by the bar, can be quite loud. The staff, Justin and Julian, were very helpful and nice.

There was a small blood stain on one of our sheets so that was gross. The room and bathroom were sandy on the floor to begin with but I understand that’s difficult to completely clean when the whole island is full of sand. Also the downside to the location is that it’s right beside Enjoy restaurant and bar which on karaoke nights it’s VERY loud. One night we wanted to sleep earlier than midnight and that made it nearly impossible to do so.

We really enjoyed the location. We had breakfast at ice and beans everyday and it’s as close as you can get to that. We also loved the kitties that come say hi from the shelter. The staff were nice. We also really liked that there was a water refill station so we didn’t have to buy water all the time.

The photos of the hotel on Bookkng.com give a misleading image of the hotel's location. It looks like the rooms and inner court are right on the beach and you could see and access the beach from your room. At least that what we thought. Turns out that it's not a beachfront hotel and instead of our room being on the beach it was next to a loud bar that kept us awake on the first night.

In general it's a nice hotel and the room is good. But we had different expectations based on the photos on booking.com

If I made one small complaint I'd say the coffee in the boiler outside wasn't great and was slightly inconvenient, I'd have a preferred to be able to make coffee in the room.

The location is brilliant. The rooms have good aircon and a nice powerful shower, and strong wifi. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Spacious and clean room with good bed, shower and AC. Location is perfect. There is a karaokebar next to the hotel but we had a room on the other side and had no problems with it at all. They serve coffee in the morning.

We had a great stay at The Bounty but we were a little disappointed by the location. The photos and description made it sound like it was beachfront but the beach is a few minutes walk away at a public beach — it’s not like some other properties on the island that have their own beach area with their own private dock. That being said, it was still really close to the beach and obviously the island is tiny so it’s easy to walk anywhere. Also, as others have noted, it is right next to a karaoke bar so it does get loud at night until about 11pm or midnight. Just to keep in mind, depending on the type of holiday you’re looking for.

Easy walking distance to lots of things. Nice, big, clean, and comfortable rooms. A/C worked well. Wifi was strong. Overall a good stay.
