We heard some construction sounds near our room. We understand there was some refurbishment going on.

We loved how peaceful it is coming in from town. Very welcoming. Good service picking from the airport. My 85 year old mother felt very cared for. The beach was kept clean. The snorkeling guides were fantastic!

We did experience some bugs in our room on the first night. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to a different room even though it was almost midnight, but it was a little unnerving to see so many bugs in our room. We didn't have food or anything out.

The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the main part of town with shops, restaurants, and bars. The space is beautifully built and maintained, and it has a very relaxing environment.

The property is very nice and in a great location. I honestly didn’t see any place on the island, regardless of price, that would have been a better place to stay. It is worth noting there is no bar on the property. They only serve beer and wine and focus on the diving scene, not the party scene.

Food was overpriced and not as good as the restaurant just up the beach. The pricing was misleading as we thought it was in US dollars. That should be clearer on the menu. I was disappointed they only provided 2 small bottles of water. The tap water was supposed to be safe but it tasted like chemicals to me. The microwave controls didn't work well. The only button that worked was the 1 but it got my tea water hot. I wished the air conditioner did a better job taking the humidity out of the air.

I loved how secluded it felt once inside the resort though it is just across from the airport and walking distance from 2 grocery stores and many restaurants. The grounds were beautiful and well kept. It really did feel like a village in the jungle. Our room was small but had a nice deck outside with comfortable chairs. They seem to do a good job controlling the bugs. I didn't get bit like I did elsewhere on the island. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Perhaps it is something with the Caye but the service from the staff was a bit off. Except for the maid who was very friendly and helpful. The reception staff - seemed a bit distracted and disinterested. They did their job but no more. Pineapple's wait staff was ok - one gentleman was great - knew facts about all states. Very friendly. Some others just not very motivated. But you can't beat the location and the facility - so it equals out. Food was good.

The location, layout and ambiance can't be beat. Right on the beach, dive shop on the dock, area to snorkel and central location. The cabin was facing the water with an outstanding view. Not crowded, yet close to restaurants and airport. Really it felt very secluded.
