My only complaint is that the resort restaurant/bar stops serving food at 3 pm. I would have liked the option of getting food onsite later than that.

It was really nice! The oceanfront villa was amazing. The entire staff was friendly and very accommodating. Mildred, Ian and Tristan went out of their way to provide a great experience.

Reef fishing was much too intense for our group. We don't need to do that again.

The staff at Pelican Reef made all our dinner reservations and set up all of our tours. They made it all super easy! Spending the day with Oliver was the best! We loved fishing with him and eating what we caught on a private beach! We loved finding the manatees and his boat was super comfortable for a day at sea! We also loved the scuba refresher course as well as the dive at Hol Chan! The dive guide was super great!

Beautiful resort! Loved the small intimate feel of it. Location was so nice away from the busy town. Snorkel tour picked us up right from the dock. The staff were absolutely lovely, so kind and helpful. Really happy I booked this place.

That we had to leave and come home.

This was my 6 th visit to Belize, 5th to Pelican Reef. The staff are absolutely amazing. The facility is wonderful clean and well maintained. I already knew many of the staff and my partner and I decided to get married in Belize on this trip. From reservations to departure everything ran smoothly. the staff was exceptional in helping us set up our wedding and small reception including getting us a delicious cake. I LOVED everything about the Pelican Reef.

This was the perfect place to take my mother and mother in law. The rooms were nice, VERY spacious and very clean. The staff was very friendly and the property was in a beautiful area. Staff was extremely accommodating. I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Nothing, really. I feel like the secret is out because Pelican Reef was quite a bit more expensive than the last time we booked. But it was still worth it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

We've stayed at Pelican Reef once before, and let's just say...when my daughter graduated from high school, and we gave her the option of a graduation trip, she chose to come back to Belize and Pelican Reef. It's clean, a great location, and comfortable. The staff makes you feel like family. The service, the smiles, and really...it's their attention to details without being overly "bougie" and entitled. We feel compelled to bring them gifts because well, we just LIKE them as PEOPLE.

Pelican reef does not serve dinner and does not have appetizers or any food after lunch service. there is a restaurant within walking distance that serves until 8 PM. Pelican reefs bar is open until 9 PM but closes early if there are no customers.

We have stayed here three times. The staff is phenomenal, very friendly and accommodating. There are only 16 units so it does not get overcrowded. if you do not plan on staying solely at the resort, you will need to rent a golf cart to travel to restaurants,shopping or site seeing. There are a few restaurants and bars within walking distance. Otherwise you can take a taxi. I recommend renting a cart or getting a taxi, making reservations or planning fishing or day trips through pelican reef. The first time we stayed here, I made the mistake of making all reservations on my own which resulted in me paying more for the golf cart and waiting longer at restaurants. Pelican reef has pull in the community and you’re taken well care of with all the business’ they book through. if you stay at the resort they have paddle boards, kayaks, full bar, and a restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch but not dinner. breakfast and lunch is very good. The condo was very nice and well equipped with washer, dryer, Iron, coffee maker, laundry, and dishwasher detergent, full kitchen with all utensils, glasses, and blender.

power outage not Pelican Villas fault, but a standby generator to at least run basic lights and fans due to AC not on in 90 degree plus weather in middle of night.

Bed arrangements more suited to 2 couples in this 2 bedroom condo. We were a couple and 2 singles, so one of us slept on a provided (comfy) air mattress in the living room. The property is located fairly distant (about 3 miles) from the San Pedro Ferry Terminal, i.e. town center.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. As I understand it, private condos are managed by a company. It was quiet and beautiful, clean and well-maintained. A dock with hammocks, beach chairs and a small, rocky reef for snorkeling. Pretty little pool. The staff were excellent. Tristan, the concierge(?), was especially helpful and courteous. He helped us arrange a number of amenities (shuttle, golf cart, delivery dinner, dive outing).

The 2 1/2 miles into San Pedro is a little far -- even on a golf cart. But we knew that when we booked.

We liked just about everything. Great staff, rooms, beach, peer, snorkeling, breakfast, pool, bar. We would definitely recommend this place. Our group of 10 stayed in a 2 bedroom & a 3 bedroom.
