The corridors taking us to our apartment was FULl of mosquitoes, I cannot emphasize how awful that was, it really needs to be fumigated regularly. The shower was hard to get the temperature right, it was too hot. Noisy AC.

We got a little apartment, it was spacious and clean with all facilities. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was big and clean. Location was ok but you need a golf buggy to move around the island. The hotel sorted this out for us. Laundry service was very good. Our room was cleaned every day.

We did not realize that it was adjacent to the airstrip. In reality, this did not affect us during sleep times. It was a little bit further from the main town centre than we expected!

We had a very comfortable stay at the Best Western Grand Baymen Gardens. The rooms were spotless and have been very well maintained. The wood finishings in all the rooms were beautiful. The staff was accommodating and helpful, especially as we tried to obtain a golf buggy at the last minute, which was almost impossible on the Island!

Upon reaching, the staff was great and I enjoyed the great customer service/hospitality. However, we were at the last building on the compound and we were on the 4th floor... Their elevator was not functional for the entire stay so it did not bode well given that we had to go up and down several times with our luggage which was an inconvenience. There were also plenty of mosquitos so I felt that there could have been something done about that. The eating area was a bit small so given it was raining a lot, there wasn't much accommodation and it got flooded pretty quickly... Lastly, noise pollution... We were right beside the building that was still being constructed so that wasn't all that great and given that the airport is nearby, you can almost always hear the planes coming and going. I could look past the airport as that wasn't an issue but that combined with the construction wasn't all that great.

I did like that it was close enough to the main that I was able to travel not more than 10 minutes and be at the water taxi and other restaurants. The rooms were also great and the complimentary breakfast was great.

We stayed during low session. The staff could have been more helpful, while we checked in the water stop working for the hotel area and they didn't let us know. A Little noise from the nearby airport. The pool is not so welcoming...

Airport noise, TV was not working properly. I was told by to employees the taxi to the airport was $7:50 US. It was $10. I might have walked as it was less that a 5 min drive.

Especially liked kyron, health fitness trainer. Cleaning my room was immaculate and office staff very kind and helpful. Pool, fitness club, room was clean.

Restaurant closed, best breakfasts about 20 minute walk. Elevator not functioning (bldg F), and wi-fi down, so no room key. Security had to let us in with master key. Reception check-in building poorly marked unless you are standing in front of it. Need sign on street side so you can see it BEFORE you arrive in front

Great location, but proximity to airport means you are right near runway. But few very early or late flights - approx 0700 - 2000 Good office staff, but operating under duress. Helper staff helped lug suitcases up 4 floors due to broken elevator.

Location: the property is only reachable via dirt roads that get very slippery when it rained. The complex is bordering the very busy airport. There is a noisy building site next to Fleet building.

We only stayed here for 1 night but had a lovely room/apartment with separate lounge and kitchen which even included a very useful washer and dryer. There is no restaurant or bar on the premises but the town is a short walk away with plenty of choice although the walk was somewhat hazardous due to the amount of rain they had recently had - needed good shoes to avoid all the very deep puddles. Had a quick swim in the pool which was ok but not somewhere I would want to spend a lot of time. The hotel is right next to the runway so there is some plane noise but that didn't bother us very much. The reception staff were very helpful and arranged a golf cart for us and also looked after our bags when we left to go on the flight over the Blue Hole. Personally I wasn't that keen on San Pedro and much prefer the other end of the island which is much more chilled and without quite so many golf carts!

The hotel is located on the swamp side of town, if it rains the unpaved streets flood and you have to find your way around the puddles. This was especially hard at night, as the streets are poorly lit. We gave up walking and rented a golf cart. At any given time there were 20-50 moskitos by our door, just waiting to get in.

The apartment was clean and very well furnished. Bed was comfy.

It was our first time in Ambergris Caye but prices for excursions or extra things seemed doubled that of other resorts or companies. it would be nice if Best Western prices closer to the market.
