So many seating options to enjoy and lounge in for the day. Amazing views and peaceful atmosphere.

Smell from the seaweed but that’s not controllable and an issue in other places

Location was perfect. Walked to restaurants but a quick drive or bike in to town for more variety. It was very quiet and we loved having a beachfront cabana.

We loved the location as it was away from the hustle of San Pedro but close to everything. Ben was the best host as he helped with everything. So accommodating and friendly. We booked our golf cart through him and they delivered it to us. Ben also scheduled a pick up and drop off from the water taxi (or airline) which was seamless.

We liked everything.

The property is clean and maintained very well. The staff is super friendly and will help you with whatever you need. They also have bikes (medium frames) and kayaks for you to use at no charge. The also pick you up from the ferry terminal and take you to the grocery store on the way to the property! It was a great touch! We stayed at the cabana closest to the beach and it was amazing! There was plenty of room, the furniture was nice, AC worked great, and all kitchen appliance/dish ware was really good. We loved having coffee on the patio every morning to start the day.

This is literally the only thing I can think of…There is no restaurant on site, but easily mitigated with 2 within walking distance (next door and about 5 min walk). And you will probably rent a golf cart so you can drive to multiple places for all meals within 5 minutes.

It’s a bit far from the center of all the activities but some would say that’s a good thing.

Nice little resort. Good pool. Had kayaks and bikes for their guests to use.

I noticed alot of mosquitoes. I got quite a few bites. Especially around the pool area

Clean , cute, comfortable Cabanas and Ben, the manager was fantastic. Even driving us to go eat when we got in late. I didn’t have time to get our golf cart yet.

No beach, garbage and sargasso is not cleaned up, so, you have to go out on dock to get in water.

Quiet clean and the staff were friendly pool was always clean and never over crowded

The occasional smell for the property next door where st stagnant sea water and rotting vegetation created a pungent stick if the wind blew the right way

Pros: Super clean, nice staff, adorable cottage, had internet and internet TV, safe, very quiet and cozy the maid does your dishes which I haven't had anyone do my dishes for me in ages so I extra appreciated that luxury.

Cons: farther from town than I personally like (I didn't understand the layout of San Pedro when I booked) and completely not their fault but the empty lot next door has gross water and piles of trash that have an unpleasant smell and if the wind is traveling from that area..... But still adorable and would definitely go again .

Fun units, well appointed, beautiful and quiet location. Very kind and helpful staff, including booking tours. Our snorkel tours picked us up from the Cocotal pier - very convenient.

Water was not accessible,a/c in our cabana barely kept rooms cool. Even knowing we rented both cabanas (as only one bed in each) the smaller cabana was waited till day of arrival to be worked on. Took all day, was told it was repaired, it was for all of around 2 hours, then our son sweated the rest of the night. Day 2, repairs on a:c again with same result as night 1. By night 3, our last, a/c was finally repaired. Again, knowing these two cabanas were rented. There was a large collection of hair on floor of large cabana shower, windows in both cabana were dirty which blocks beach view, and both were cabanas wee very dusty.

Cocotal Inn is a wonderful haven near San Pedro. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The option to kayak out to the reef and snorkel was an added bonus!

Beautiful cabana! Very spacious one bedroom with a wonderful porch! Staff was exceptional, always making sure we had everything we needed. We stayed two extra nights! Beach area was beautiful and we met a lot of nice people there.

Got bit by alot of bugs while we were outside.
