Everything was perfect.

I had the pleasure of staying at City Garden 2 Apartment for 2 nights. I had been traveling for nearly 3 months in Central America and honestly, out of the many hostels and hotels I stayed in, this apartment was, by far, the best. I was warmly welcomed by the owner, Angie, and her genuine hospitality and friendly vibe made the place a joy to stay! One thing about Angie is that she really cares about her guests and she goes above and beyond to make their stays as comfortable as possible. For example, she took the time to explain about nearby places to visit, markets, shops and restaurants and great advice on other things to do in the local area. If there was anything I needed during my stay, I only had to drop Angie a line and she was there ready to help. The apartment is in a quiet residential area. The main thing about the apartment is that It was immaculately clean - in fact it was the cleanest place I had stayed in during my time travelling. The bedroom, living area, kitchen area and bathroom were all spotless. Nothing was out of place. The bedroom is very spacious and there was more than enough for a table and chair which I sometimes used to do admin. The bed itself is large and very comfortable. The main living area is also spacious and is fitted with some very luxurious sofas and there is cable tv which you can use. By far the way, both rooms have air con which was an added plus! The local supermarkets are literally a few minutes away by foot and there are lots of food options, restaurants and bars less than 10 minutes walk away by the seafront which was a lively setting. I highly recommend City Garden 2 Apartment, it is very competitively priced and I hope to stay there again soon! Angie - Thank you again for a very comfortable stay. Apartment has one double bed for 2 people and sofa bed. Not recommended for more of two people.

The host was so kind and sweet, welcoming me to the location and helping me orient to Belize City. A great landing spot to get your bearings. Walkable to the seawall and many tourist-friendly spots. Host had a spot for me to park my car. Felt safe and sound!

Stayed for one night before and after Caye Caulker. The accommodation is very close to the supermarket, Angie was very accommodating and very attentive to my questions, and there’s a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge. The wifi is strong and there is a smart TV in the living room and bedroom, would thoroughly recommend if you’re intending to stay a night in Belize City before heading to the island or moving inland.

The apartment was incredibly clean, all the linens smelled fresh. The location was great, it is located in a residential neighborhood off of a main road so very easy to walk to several restaurants, a supermarket and local bars. Angie provides a list of recommended places. We tried D and D, Master Cooking (great pork), Ceviche Express, Kelsey’s and the ice cream place. All within a 5 minute walk. She organized a taxi for us to go back to the airport. We would recommend staying here during your time in Belize.

Wonderful host!! Her beautiful apartment felt like a safe haven after a draining all-day bus ride. Angie warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond to to make us feel comfortable during our stay.

We stayed in Belize City for a night with Angie and it was very comfortable. The apartment was large, clean, quiet and well air conditioned. From the welcome to the checkout everything was smooth. We can highly recommend!

We could have had a bit more drinking water or information about the city water. We didn't have our own vehicle and had to walk to restaurants. The host had a list of nearby possibilities but it was a hot walk. Breakfast was easy to grab and delicious.

There was no breakfast there but coffee. We also needed help calling a cab and the host recommended and called an excellent drive and he was there within minutes!

Angie was great very helpful, especially as we booked with her about only 30 mintues before we arrived from a different hotel which was terrible and we ended up leaving that first place within an hour. Angie's space was an extreme breath of fresh air.

Angie is the ultimate hostess! She greets you with a warm and friendly smile and takes care of you like her own family. The property is immaculately clean, comfortable, and in a great location for walking to restaurants and the ocean. We have stayed there before, and after, our trips from Belize City to Placencia, and we will stay there again! We highly recommend this property!

Everything at this location was fabulous! It was extremely clean, neat, and very nicely decorated. Our hostess, Angie, was outstanding! She was kind, thoughtful, and extremely helpful in every situation, where we needed help! She recommended restaurants, made sure our shuttle to Placencia was on time, and just lovely to visit with. The apartment had everything we needed, and more. It was so comfortable, warm, inviting, and we will stay there every time we are in Belize City! I cannot recommend this property, and Angie, enough!

I really like this apartment, it’s close to some places of interest, taxi to downton cotst aproximatly 10 USD, but we went there on foot. The apartment is fully equipped with fridge, full kitchen, the bed is confortable and the communication with Angie was constant all the time. I’d def come back.

Loved it! Really can’t recommend this place enough for a stay in Belize City! Angie is so friendly and welcoming and has a list of all the best places to go. The apartment had everything you could need and is the cleanest place we’ve stayed on our travels! Feels very safe and homely!
