The location made it easy to get into town for shopping. The staff were very accommodating.

This review in no way is meant to disparage the people working at Blue Tang Inn. They were wonderful! However, the stay was absolutely NOT worth the money. No private balconies, outside breakfast from a crockpot, horrid smell from the seaweed, inaccessible beach from hotel, dated rooms, no bar on-site, sail boat Sirena Azul not in use...

was nice and easy to find and staff was always very helpful had nice continental breakfast every morning suggest rent a golf cart get around is always fun they have one at hotel to rent if u inquire is alot of other rentals as well

I loved the fresh breakfast they made each morning and the ocean view. I also loved the fact that we were close to all the stores and restaurants!

The staff were very friendly, but upon our arrival, the lady at the desk tried to say we only paid for 2 people and tried to make us pay an additional fee for the other 3 people, until I proved to her from my previous messages we had already booked for 5 people, then she let us go. That was not a great welcome.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Distance from activities were good, often walking distance. Pool was a plus.

It didn't have many amenities like other big hotels but it was pretty nice.

Staff were friendly and helpful especially around setting up a snorkeling adventure. The rooms and facilities are beautiful

The staff at the Blue Tang Inn was exceptional very kind, accommodating, and flexible.

It was not their fault, but there was significant construction happening next-door when we arrived, which was unexpected, and the pool was quite a bit smaller than expected as well, but they did everything within their power to make it a comfortable stay!

Very well kept and lovely accommodations right on the water. Staff were amazing.

More hooks in the room to hang towels would be an asset.

We stayed at the Blue Tang for three nights in the King room on the first floor. The room was spacious for two people and had a full kitchen. Staff were super friendly and we felt very safe having a security guard overnight on the property (though we never felt unsafe walking in town at night here). Filtered water and the pool were right outside our room. Breakfast was different every day; we had homemade french toast, egg sandwiches, and beef empanadas plus coffee, juice, and fruit. The location was excellent! We ate at Palapa, Sandbar, and Cool Beans, all which were very close. One of the best dive shops, Chuck and Robbies, is also only a few steps away. We walked to and from the ferry terminal/airport.

The Wi-Fi was incredibly spotty. We could barely ever get our TV to work because of connectivity issues. Very few toiletries offered in the bathroom (bar soap, small shampoo). Property next door was under construction and they started every morning at 7am (not Blue Tang's fault).

We loved the location just across from the beach and within easy walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful with booking activities for us while we were there. The pool was lovely and the breakfast, which was included changed daily.

It was a great location, had a great restaurant bar with live music on Saturday night when we were there. Not sure about the other nights. Loved that you can walk to restaurants and grocery stores nearby. All and all - would highly recommend! 😊

Staff friendly and helpful

This property is right on the water but it’s not on the beach. You can swim off the jetty opposite though. Our room was actually an entire apartment with a complete kitchen, not that we used it! The bathroom was clean but to say it was tired would be an understatement; it had the original suite and tiles from the 1970’s - almost cool again. But not quite.
