I stayed in the private room and above is dorm and when people walk it can get noisy.

Location and staff. Amber is awesome, she answers all the questions and helps with tours, laundry and anything else.

Mosquitos in the room and general state of disrepair. Chipped mugs, plates and broken pans in shared kitchen.

Pedro the barman went out of his way to make us comfortable. Providing a reading lamp, mosquito coil and lending us his own lighter for the stay. Lots of friendly travellers mixing with local staff created a social and interesting travel experience. Free drinking water and rum punch were appretiated.

Good central location in Cayo, staff was friendly and had good recommendations for activities. Kitchen was nice with lots of spices to use. The private room was a bit outdated and the bed quite small. It has a a mosquito net but it’s at the end of the bed so can’t reach the other end and had a bunch of holes in it.

- the staff was really nice and helpful - the kitchen was big and well equipped - amazing outside area - great location - great activities in the evening - the dorm had an aircon but my bed was under the roof it was boiling hot and nothing from the aircon came to our sleeping area. Because the stairs were really tiny it wasn't possible to take my backpack to my bed. (Note alle of the other bed would have been waaaay better, I was just a bit unlucky) - the bathroom doors are quite thin and one can hear everything at any time

The staff that checked me in was high. I was lucky enough to stay in the AC room, but it's a 12 people dorm with one AC. The kitchen needs new pots and better knifes

My first night’s bed was so uncomfortable I had to change - they accommodated this and I slept much better! The whole place needs a good clean. All the floors and surfaces are very dusty. Kitchen is a bit cramped and tired, and signs are needed to ensure people clean up properly after themselves. Needs a bit of an overhaul.

Good location, nice interesting building with different levels and places to hang out. Staff were friendly. My dorm room area was spacious. Free rum punch which was good for socialising although the music was hideous and far too loud so we couldn’t chat! Then a film was put on so that was the end of any conversation BUT they served free popcorn which was fab!

Be really careful with your laundry - luckily I had walked through the back and seen some of my pieces hanging up because when I asked at reception they just gave me the rest of it without mentioning them. Also some pieces had fallen in the dirt under the clothesline. I booked a shuttle to Belize city through them that was pretty terrible - 9.30 pick-up only to drive us around the block to the office (literally a 4 minute walk on Google) where we waited 45 minutes for the shuttle to arrive from Guatamala. We missed the 12 noon ferry that some people had booked and it was all such a waste of time when I thought I'd paid for convenience - should have just taken the public bus.

Did all the basics well. Lower bunks had a curtain (not the top), plenty of plugs, lockers, water, and a nice upstairs area. It was cheaper booking ATM through them than direct with the tour provider. The location was central. The upstairs area is pretty nice although it doesn't seem to catch the breeze. Dorm A had AC although there was only one unit for three conjoined rooms so some beds would be blasted and others not reached much.

Could use a better matress

Exactly what I wanted, safe place to work out of and the social atmosphere made it fun, the dinners were reasonably priced and good, looking forward to one more stay before I finish my house.

The only reason I rated it a 9 is because there was no hot water in my private ensuite. Even when I asked about it, the issue couldn't get fixed. I would absolutely stay here again, though. That would not stop me because the staff is so nice

The staff is incredible. They are very accommodating for travelers and flexible on your dates. They work with you, and I have never seen a place more accommodating. The A/C worked amazing.

The room has an unlocked door to the back yard where there is an unlocked door to the street, that feels unsafe.

The place seemed to be understaffed and a bit tired especially after having stayed at the Caye Caulker Bella's first. There is a lot of potential there. It is a very large facility with the kitchen and bar located in the middle of it all. If they were really busy it could be an issue finding seating and using the tiny bathroom.

Our room included zero meals. We did use their laundry service and it was super fast and not expensive. The bathroom was shared with a dormitory but not too much of a problem getting to use it when needed. We did no cooking but they had a large kitchen. It was very close to restaurants and grocery stores. There are two cities in Belize with a Bella's and if you stay at them both they offer a discount.

No real complaints, the bulb in our bathroom went out but the boys did what they could to handle it. Again, the rain was causing a host of issues while I was there and they did what they could within their abilities.

Even though there was a snag with my private room (water damage due to rains) and I had to rebook to a shared room, staff was super accommodating about it and got me a spot in no time. Staff is attentive and always checking if you need anything and make you feel at home.

We had the best time here, the staff are so welcoming and really make you feel like part of the family and are always happy to help with any questions - special shoutout to Paydro and Ethan! Location is perfect, so central and close to everything you’ll need. Rooftop has a bar and hammocks to chill out or play beer pong.

The kitchen wasn't always clean (especially because other guests didn't wash their dishes nor let the kitchen clean after cooking).

I had a really good time at Bella's, the staff was really welcoming and it's perfect to meet people. The room was really spacious with ac. The kitchen was fully equipped and the shared areas were cool to hang out. Activities were organised almost everyday. The location was perfect. I had booked for 3 nights, I ended up staying a week there.
