This was our second time staying at Belize Budget Suites and it met all our expectations once again. We love the location which is far enough from all the tourist area that you cant hear it at night but close enough to go eat lunch dinner and spend the day. Thank you to the staff, specially Jose who made sure we had everything we needed.

Chose this hotel for the price - as most hotels are pretty pricey on San Pedro! It is a little out of the way, and is a 30 mins walk to airport/town, or a 15-20 mins walk to some of the jetty, but one of the dive shop is very close by and there are still a few good eateries within walking distance. Not particularly something I didn't like, but travellers should take note before booking. They should also probably provide drinking water, as the only water on sale are in 500ml or 5 gallons (although they are cheap at US$3.50 but I hope they used the remaining 70% I left behind!)

Chose to stay in San Pedro for the established dive shops, and probably will still prefer this to dive shops in Caye Caulker. Staff was super friendly and helpful, very responsive on texts. The room was amazingly HUGE for the price and comes super well equipped! Living room, small kitchen and separate bedroom, it was really lovely. Just a 3 mins walk to the beach, so pick up via one of the nearby jetty is convenient too if you were to go with dive shops further up the beach.

For longer holiday stays a swimming pool should be nice but for business trips there is nothing not to like about this place.

Amazingly decorated! Clean, welcoming, everything one would like to see and experience with staying overnights. Excellent location, quiet but walking distances from very nice and neat vegetable/fruit seller and five star hotel for excellent restaurant, although very expensive to eat there.

There was a stong smell of some type of cleaner in the room.

The room was very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of extra towels and stocked items and plenty of space to unpack and settle in a bit. The suites are located a bit far from downtown San Pedro so you’d need to rent a golf cart to get around but it was nice to come back to a place that was quiet.

One needs a golf cart, else it is a 30-40min walk to the city, but possible to walk all the way to the city on the beach which is very nice.

A water dispenser for the 5 gallon jugs was not provided. We found one giant caribbean cockroach in the frame of the futon, which freaked out the wife a little. The lack of a safe was the only REAL problem we had. It made all-day excursions challenging, since we didn’t feel we had a secure place to leave valuables.

The garden was beautiful, the location was very quiet, and the Litoral Jungle outside the bedroom window was very pretty. The room was pretty with nice venetian plaster where there were no murals.

The apartment is quite dark.

We had a good stay in this hotel. The owner and the staff are very nice and helpfull. We were able to check in several hours earlier, whick we really appreciated. The room was very clean. The ground are pretty and tidy. The owner helped us to book a cart.
