How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Staff is very nice and helpful and provide very good services to visit chobe and Vic falls. Dinner and breakfast are very good.

Breakfast was good but please replace frozen veges with fresh ones. The WiFi wasn't working most of the time. TV had only 2 channels.
Overall delicious food especially Indian cuisine. Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff always smiling and ready to assist.

The bathroom, there is nothing to clean the bathtub with after bathing. And you are forced to take a bath because the shower was not working well.
The location was convenient, the overall cleanliness was good.

The music from the restaurant was disturbing at night. The well equipped kitchen wasn’t well equipped but was adequate after we asked for items including a large bowl, glasses and extra cutlery. Some days we wanted an early breakfast but the breakfast wasn’t available at 7.00 as it was still being set up. We had an evening meal which took a long time to be prepared even though we were the only people dining.
The breakfast was excellent, the room was very comfortable, the surrounds were lovely. It was not very far away from the town if you had a vehicle. Staff were very obliging and friendly. Our house maid pretty was fantastic.

Phone not working in our room, and sometimes they would not answer the whatsapp line. Noise 1 night with an event held there. And there was no communication ahead of time about the noise/event. Curtains are not well placed/held up.
Easy access to the venue, and it's in close proximity to a lot of places. The rooms were big and spacious. Hot water is available every day and all day. Breakfast was great 👌 (except no provision for lactose intolerant guests, even after request)

Nothing I can think of.
The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable and with a small kitchen. The breakfast was very good: more than enough choice for everybody. Also the dinner I had was excellent and was served with a nice wine with it.

Restaurant and bar is a franchise. Long waiting time for food however Staff is very nice and accommodating.

The self service department could have done with a few more cooking utensils and a chopping board.
We had a self service department. It was fantastic value for money. Very close to Kiani and to Chobe National Park. We used it as an excellent location as a base for exploring the national park and at the same time cooking meals for ourselves so that we could eat healthy. The staff were friendly and efficient and our room very spacious with a view of the river through the rest of the hotel

The WiFi was a bit slow and the shower had no mop.
I loved the location because it was about 5 minutes drive to the mall. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay overall.

The restaurant service,was extremely poor,from the wait up time to get a waiter to take orders, the table dirty and the time taken to clean it up.then the wait for our order,that we ended up going to the room to have them delivered there,only for us to go back for them. And also the issue of having to call everyday for an iron,why can't each room get an iron when there is check in.
The admin and cleaning staff are friendly and they explain services to the T..Good job

I have always loved their breakfast. The breakfast this time around was very tasty as always. My only wing is that I expected it to be a buffet as usual, but they said because there were few guests breakfast was served from the kitchen, but I could still have as much food as I wanted so in essence it was still a buffet. love you Team Wildview!
