How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The hotel is located next to the very busy bus rank. They are many traffic during the day time. It is a very short walk to the CBD and shopping centre. The hotel itself is bit old but it has adequate facility as needed.

Need more freebis and better entertainment with regards to the channels available on the television.
Location is right in centre of Gaborone so it makes an ideal rest stop during travel.

For the price it was clean and had everything you could need for a lights stay before taking a bus. The location was handy for the market and the buses. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I didn't like the fact that I arrived in the morning for a meeting but was denied entry to the room until 1300hrs which was a big inconvenience to me. For that reason m no longer going to book at the facility

Check in staff superb. Friendly and helpful. Had a small disagreement with new receptionist next day. I asked for my room not to be cleaned. She insisted it was the rule..strange?? Later, all was forgiven when she kindly arranged an early morning taxi for me.
Excellent location for transport and nearby shops. I noticed there was an overnight bus stand to Maun right outside. It was also the terminus for the shuttle from Windhoek.

The air conditioner in the room did not work. Mid summer Gaborone is very hot so an air conditioner is crucial. The area around the accommodation looks like a bus station and a market so it looks sketchy.
The size of the rooms is good. The best part of my experience was the staff. Pearl and Tsholofelo were very kind, professional and pleasant.

After a very long day’s drive, it was difficult to reach the hotel which is located behind a very busy bus & taxi station. A nearby nightclub playing very loud music until late didn’t make for a restful night.
The staff made us welcome, did what they could to make us comfortable and provided a good supper.

Security issue, it is next to the taxi rank and traffic is a mess in and out of the hotel yard

The reality was very different from the description which needs to be severely revised. E.g. replace the phrase "mountain view" with "garage roof view".

Breakfast menu is the same every day. Also, it's very noisy. The noise is from the hotel bar itself.

i think they need to change the bed size and the base of the beds as well as matress. there are nolonger firm for someone with back problem. Also they need to increase the lighting in the room its a bit dull for studying
i did eat breakfast but the location is good for someone using a bus as means of transport The tiles they have put in rooms makes it habitable

The air-conditioning in the room was super strong, but this might be a positive depending on what you are used to. Same goes for the location near the bus rank which is rather busy - it was convenient for us but might not be everyone's cup of tea.
The location of the hotel is very convenient - right next to the central bus station (which is really busy day and night). The staff was very friendly and helpful - lovely young lady at the reception helped us to get information about long distance buses as we were unsure about departure times etc. Although the furniture in the room was not the newest, it was comfy and clean - good for the price and enough for our one night stay. There is also a bar downstairs where you can buy drinks if the comolimentary bottles of water and tea in your room is not enough :)

Only a single bottle of water was in the room, there should be a jug of water that they can refill at your leisure
This hotel is located right by the city centre and near a mall which is incredibly convenient.The staff is really kind and friendly , they are eager to help with any problem you might have during your stay
