Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IsraelThe manager wasn’t very nice or helpful with anything. The hot tub in the room didn’t work (can happen) but after one attempt to fix it that failed he lost interest and made no effort to have it fixed. The little things like pods for the espresso machine were stingy..they give you 2 for the whole stay ..you spend so much on building such a nice property-it’s not wise to be stingy or lazy with the little things-like upkeep, maintenance and service with a nice attitude. Lastly-the location -it’s not ‘anybody’s fault -but if you don’t have a car and would like to dine outside the hotel -it demands some logistics
The general appearance of the public areas was beautiful. The room itself was spacious and comfortable.

GermanySomething i can't blame the great staff and owner of that Hotel, but unfortunately it has to be mentioned. On saturdays the close city is having party time, what menas in the Northeast very loud music. the hotel staff was really emberassed by the situation for not saying, desperate. Maybe the mentality of the citizens will be open for the great Nature the live in for no need of loud and silly music at saturdays nights.
I am not a big fan of the "10% Taxa de Serviçio" what is spreading out in Brazil the last years, but this is the first and only time i really liked to pay it, because the Service was 1A! The place is perfect located - you can see the Dunes - the infrastrucure full of really nice details, the "Chales" have eversthing you need, and the Restaurant full of tradicional food of Maranhão! Congrats, haven't expected that in the wild wild State of Maranhão.

CanadaIt would be nice if the staff speak a bit more English. However, they use Whatsapp to communicate, which makes communication a lot easier for visitors outside of the country.
The room is clean and spacious. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast is awesome. The dining hall is nicely decorated. Dinner portion is huge. This hotel is probably the best one in Santo Amaro. Really enjoyed the stay here.

United KingdomWe arrived out of season, so the hotel was quiet. This did mean the bar closed early, so asking for a drink at 9.30 was declined, unless we settled for a beer. Otherwise the staff were charming, the facilities great and surroundings beautiful. Recommend the full day 4x4 experience in the Dunes. Restaurant nice, but expensive compared to others in the town. Would stay again .

United KingdomThe food in the restaurant was good, but not to the level we experienced in the previous hotels we stayed in the area, paying very similar prices. The rooms were also too basic in comparrison to the hotels in the same area that were even cheaper than this one.
The staff was incredible! Very friendly and helpful! Bia from the reception and Marcos, waiter in the restaurant went the very extra mile to serve us with excellency.
