Hong KongThe gardens and garden pathways need a tidy and refurbishment. One staff member needs training in general, basic courtesy.
The beachfront rooms were lovely with a beautiful patio and an essential outdoor shower. A la carte breakfast was included, appreciated, and was really yummy some days, but really not great on other days. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. The new front of house restaurant manager was a needed asset to the Reef Bar restaurant. I honestly didn't want to leave the hotel for its informal, laid-back, relaxing atmosphere in comfortable accommodation. Dunkerbeck Windsurf Centre onsite was great!. The windsurfing in the lagoon is fantastic and right at your door.

Quiet, clean, well stocked kitchen, tons of light and privacy, easy access to 3 windsurf schools, attention to detail from the staff which made it feel very intimate and personal, the grounds are lovely with plenty of trees and birds.

Quiet, beautiful spot. Great cabinas with good AC. The food was great and the fresh croissants every morning are excellent. Staff was wonderful and accommodating.

United StatesThe location I unbelievable for Windsurfing, Snorkeling and Diving. You can leave in a rooms at 10 meter from the lagoon, any time your you can either jump into the lagoon for snorkeling or go windsurfing. There is an amazing restaurant bar that can sere breakfast, lunch or dinner on the beach or if you prefer at your room (I'd suggest the beach) and more mazing services.

United StatesA shower at our unit would be nice to get the sand off our feet. It looks like that is planned for the next phase of the renovation.
We arrived in early December to a newly renovated property. Our unit (1 bedroom) and several others had just finished with the renovation. The remaining units were still undergoing the changes. The apartment was great! The décor was contemporary and nicely done. We had a stove top, microwave, full refrigerator, a dishwasher, and table for four. We had a new fold-out couch that was very comfortable. Remotely operated air conditioners were in the bedroom and living room. They worked extremely well and we did not need to use the one in the bedroom. The patio had another table and chairs and two additional chairs for reading or watching the windsurfers. Because of the renovation, we were provided breakfast of our choosing on our patio at our selected time rather than going to a dining room. The beach and waterfront had plenty of comfortable chaise loungers, with and without sun protection, couches, and chairs. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, to a person. They did a great job of checking with us on our stay and seeing if we needed anything. Onsite there was a boutique, a restaurant (for lunch), and the Dunderbeck Windsurfing operation. Visitors staying at the Sorobon Beach Resort received a 20% discount from them for rentals or lessons. This operation was also top notch with very helpful staff and a large variety of equipment. We would definitely come back and we highly recommend this resort.

The staff was absolutely incredible and made sure we had everything we needed. Kind, professional, super laid back and friendly attitude is what made the stay so special. Food was delicious, too. Annemiek and Melanie always went out of their way to make things happen. I couldn't have asked for a better team running thus resort. The owner is lucky to have them.

United StatesWe stayed in a room that was billed as "sea view" (on the 15-20 corridor)-- it was not. if you stood at the very end of the deck and turned your head to the left you get a peak. That corridor of rooms (all sea view) also abut the restaurant which is hidden by a wooden wall, so no garden on that side and there is relentless from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. electronic music that is headache inducing if you don't like that genre (and maybe even if you do since it interferes with the quiet.) Also snorkeling is not readily accessible. The reef is a 20 minute or so walk, so for older and/or less fit people do not count on snorkeling from there.
Breakfast was either too big (chef's) or too expensive (a la carte).

United StatesWde booked and paid for "Oceanview" unit but we can not see water from our rooms - only vegetation. While it was nice vegetation, it was not "oceanview" - we feel cheated by the resort website which was showing villas on the open space. We did not like restaurant, especially breakfasts. Choices were very limited and regular bre4akfast has huge amount of bread, one slice of ham and one slice of cheese (called cold cuts!). Quality of the dinner dishes was very good but again, choices were very limited. What was probably shocking that the short piece of the road leading to the hotel was in horrible conditions - practically impossible by regular cars. Just feeling huge potholes with sand and rocks would greatly help. Overall, this resort can not be called luxury - they have long way to go
Location is just perfect - the bay is marvelous and windsurfing rental facilities are just perfect. We love this part which was the main reason for our visit to Bonaire. Swimming was reasonable because the area was mostly for windsurfers - again, we like this. Color of the water was simply fantastic. Huts (villas) very mored and very nice - we short walk to the beach and restaurant.
