Brunei DarussalamThe swimming pool was not that clean The staff/receptionist was not helpful. I was standing on the wrong counter for a long time, and the receptionist just give me a quick look and attend other people and cutting my line without saying anything. When I finally meet the receptionist, I informed regarding my booking (which I have confirmed the day before) and he seems to be unprepared and asked me if I booked only on that day where I have booked weeks prior. And then after paying, he just give us the key and did not inform us the location of the room and we were just lost afterwards before asking the doorman for the location. The staff/receptionist definitely need more training on customer services. Also, please respond to the text in the booking app. I left several texts asking question and giving confirmation, and no one bother to reply. They only responded on my first text and ignored the rest, I have to call the hotel to ask my questions.
The hotel room was comfortable. One of the staff that was in charge of the parking was the most helpful staff on the day.

I see no point in paying for breakfast too with this booking as what is the point when breakfast is still open but hardly any food to eat. This should not be first come first served kinda breakfast. So we feel cheated on this. Not nice.
Very fast check in process. Hotel was ready to accept us upon our arrival as well. Minimal waiting time at lobby. Swimming pool was good too as not crowded. Smaller kids will however need the swimming rings as it will be quite deep for them - we ran downstairs and bought them from Mr DIY.

South AfricaOn arrival, bathroom and shower were dirty, was informed the cleaning staff had already left at mid day [the on duty staff did try and remedy the cleanliness and hygiene matter]. Room maintenance a challenge...ran out of toilet roll (they only use cheap toilet roll) at night and reception offered zero assistance. bed sheets had stains. Room window was facing dark indoor garage.
Excellent shuttle service by the hotel from and to the airport, friendly & professional driver. Warm welcoming and friendly staff. Small shopping centre anchoring the building. Few nice restaurants around the hotel.

SlovakiaThis place has become dirty since my last stay in Nov. 2023, lack of maintenance, breakfast starts from 06:30 but don't expect to get an omelet or scrambled eggs, one day there is no bread, another day there is no eggs. Only fruits served water melon and papaya, when its finish don't expect that someone will bring more. I stayed in Times Hotel more than a month so i can tell, its not coincidence.
