It can be a bit noisy in the evenings during weekends depending on the room, because there's a club nearby playing loud music. I wore earplugs, so it was fine. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The staff are very professional and helpful. Facilities are always clean and well maintained. Very spacious and comfortable room. Food was delicious with plenty to choose from.

We couldn’t show up for our first night due to a flight cancellation. The manager said he wouldn’t charge us for this. We didn’t even ask. He just offered. After that he made sure we had a kettle and hair dryer sent to our room. Great service. The hotel itself is set in quiet gardens away from the street but still very handy for the city. The rooms are well equipped.

The location does not have things like restaurants in walking distance. On the other hand, it was quiet at night which I much appreciated. The restaurant could offer smaller portions at less price. Portions are huge.

Breakfast was fantastic. Staff was helpful, everything was kept clean. Airconditioning is my room worked great but not in all rooms.

Paid my bill at the end of my stay except for the taxi to the airport with my credit card 😊 a\c was not quite cool enough. TV could not be plugged into a non functioning outlet plus it was a UK plug in a European plug C country.

the breakfast could be arranged in a better, more varying manner. The marmalade is served in a very tiny porcelain bowl. It is hardly sufficient to cover the tiny Croissant once served. The bread roll is not bad, but could be changed towards the usual “baguette” which is available everywhere in Buja. No butter is given with the breakfast which is more or less a no-go. Kindly arrange also the stability of the ever moving tables. A little more attention to the breakfast will improve a lot and give credits to your business.

Clean, convenient, great value for money. Excellent staff. The room is very spacious, the bed is excellent. New and functioning AC, with silent sleep mode at night - it made all the difference! I would return here on my next trip to Bujumbura.

The power was inconsistent, which may be a regular problem in this region, but twice it happened only at our hotel and next door was fine. I think they had a problem with their generator while we were there, as one night it was out for several hours. Wifi was also somewhat inconsistent for work, but acceptable speed, as long as there was power. There were little cracks in the top of the door frame and bathroom screen that allowed mosquitos inside, but there was a mosquito net in the room, and we didn't have too many anyway. Still very nice for a relaxing in a nice hotel and using it as a base to see some of Burundi.

We were very happy with our few days here on a short visit to Burundi. The staff were all very nice and helpful, breakfast was plentiful and good, lovely grounds, good amenities, and a good location right across from Lake Tanganyika, though it's not as nice a beachside view as I'd hoped. There's a nice pool, outdoor restaurant and seating area, and a very good gym (other than the fact that the wifi doesn't reach inside). The room and bed were spacious and comfortable, and we slept well here.

Initially could not get TV channels and had to call twice to have this sorted as it had something to do with payment of subscription. There were lots of bees attracted to the fruits and jam at breakfast and swirling around me. Bathroom had a bathtub and I had to hold showerhead with one hand for a shower.

Polite and helpful staff. Hotel premises well maintained. Nice breakfast. Within walking distance of le Mussée Vivant and the lake shore.

Well, the hotel is close to the lake. Yes, there are Mosquitoes. We encountered them outdoors, especially in the evening. No problem in the room. Citronella oil prevents them from getting on your nerves.

I am glad I chose this hotel at the end of our trip through Central Africa. It was very relaxing with birds chirping all day. The nights were quiet, the days were not overly loud. Everything we had hoped for was there. Working air conditioning and fridge. Clean, good sized rooms, balcony overlooking the garden. Nice restaurant on the roof overlooking the lake. Tasty and well-prepared dishes are served. Breakfast in the green pool area, surrounded by beautiful trees. Breakfast was included in the booking. We opted for the American breakfast, which included a large plate of fresh fruit and omelette, and you can order anything you like from the menu for an extra charge. The garden restaurant is open from early morning until late evening. The pool is very clean, a good size, well maintained and modern. My husband enjoyed working out in the gym next to the pool. Since we were in Burundi, things work differently than in other countries. In general, it takes a long time for food to be prepared throughout the country. We noticed that in many hotels the food is prepared over a charcoal fire. Waiting time between 30 - 90 min. Be patient. WiFi works very well everywhere on the premises.
