It's a bit far from the center (around 30 mins walking). It is very easy to jump from one room to another through the terrace, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable, even more since the terrace door didn't close properly. A/C was a bit noisy.

Very comfortable and clean. The room was spacious, with a nice terrace as well. Breakfast was pretty decent, and there are lots of parking spaces around. Very calm area at night, and the staff was overall friendly. Good value for money.

Room 21 needs some big improvements. The ceiling is about to fall down because of some water infiltrations and the windows are very bad at sound proofing because you hear all the street traffic.

The matrass and the pillow are not good 😐 . The breakfast was very simply (no fried eggs, no bacon, no omelet...and so on). The coffee was good but very very limited

The location is a bit far from the center but the bus stops just front of the hotel Elena. By food also is not very far from the center, just about 15 min to walk

Room: The beds were very soft and thus it was hard to rest properly.

Breakfast: You can choose between 4 or 5 versions to your own delight. It was decent. Staff: They were very helpful and very nice. This made the stay from average to good. Room: It was big and bright and clean. The TV worked fine and the balcony was nice. Location: It was relatively quiet as it is not on the main road that goes through the city. Bathroom: The toilet flushed properly and there was always hot water. The shower cabin was properly sized.

Continental breakfast was what we expected. Room was large and quiet, bed was comfortable and nice to have restaurant and cafe in the same building. Walking to old town takes not too long. And extra plus is the green market near by. And ofcourse, parking is safe.

We had a great stay at Hotel Elena in Veliko Tarnovo. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming — truly one of the highlights of our visit. We arrived late in the evening, and although the restaurant was about to close, they still made us a pizza, which was a very kind gesture. There’s a nice little terrace to relax on, à la carte breakfast in the morning, and smiles all around from the team throughout our stay. There’s also a convenient parking lot right across from the building, and the hotel is within walking distance to the city center. Highly recommended!

The carpet in the room was stained. You mostly cannot pay by card. The hotel facilities are none, maximum 2 stars.

Breakfast was okay. You can choose from several products, but the pancakes had a sour taste, not sure if from any of the ingredients. The staff was very friendly. There is a parking space which is a plus.
