The breakfast and dinner were both excellent, and the pool/spa was truly outstanding. I took an overnight mother–daughter trip with my 10-year-old, and we both had an amazing stay. She loved the pool just as much as I did — it was spacious and had everything you could want for a relaxing weekend. The hotel also offered plenty of comfortable lounge areas downstairs and a lovely terrace, perfect for enjoying a drink or meal in the sun. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was only average and the toaster wasn’t working or not plugged in. Restaurant wasn’t supervised properly so that I was correctly charged but others in my group were not altho they should have been.

Excellent refurbished room and en suite with instant hot water and a good shower. Linen and towels were good.

The room was functional and comfortable with excellent beds for a very reasonable price. We didn't take the breakfast however the restaurant provided a very good evening meal and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Quicker replenishment of the food at breakfast would have been better. Clearance of the tables could be improved.

The location was excellent. Unfortunately the restaurant was not good value for the money. Breakfast was not worth €26. While the staff were very friendly but because of the amount of people the repleneshment of the food was very slow. For me there were not enough staff on duty.

- When we visited over the Christmas period, the restaurant was closed. - Some staff were not in the mood, we felt the "accueil" was not very pleasant - It is a bit outdated

The room was too warm at night. The staff during breakfast barely spoke English or Dutch. The parking was heavily occupied and unorganised. Some of the guests had to park on the side of the road.

The staff was friendly. The spa was good and the location easy to reach and to discover the area.

Middle of nowhere, not easy to find the parking. The room and hotel were freezing cold, and the heater was an air conditioner, so if you wanted any warmth, you'd be kept awake by the loud noise all night. Not ideal for light sleepers Lamp was broken in bathroom, having to shower in the dark - wasnt fixed even after mentioning it to the reception staff. An old leak damaged the floor, causing the wooden planks to shift, creating gaps and sharp, raised edges that posed a serious risk of injury when walking barefoot. The twin beds were very narrow; even though I'm quite slim, I had to be careful not to roll off while sleeping. An upgrade would be appreciated. Construction on-site was not ideal, especially after a late night, when awoken at 6:30 AM by the sound of drills, saws, and hammering.

Spacious, comfortable room, incl a nice big bathroom with walk in shower and bath. Breakfast has everything you need.

We had a suite, very nice when travel with the kids, but cleaning might be done better. Taps were loose in the bathroom. After first night a cleaning lady took all coffee cups away :)

The hotel is quite old, but still well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, wide selection. Located near a forest, better to use a car to go to Spa.

The lack of being able to book dinner at the hotel - which forced us to go out or order takeaway which isn't easy to eat in the hotel room. Also, the front door steps up are steep and I was nervous to use them so used the slope beside the entrance for the trolleys and wheelchairs. Shallower steps would be less unnerving - especially as there was snow and ice while we were there.

Everything in terms of service and the room - cleanliness and convenience. Breakfasts were generous and delicious. The dining room is really nice and has a pretty view on the garden. Parking was easy. Proximity to the Thermes was great as we drove there direct on one road from the hotel. Loved the stays we've had with Balmoral - 3 so far.

The building lacks upkeep. Loose tiles in the lobby and the restaurant entrance. The furniture and overall upholstery looks outdated and is a bit worn. The pool table's sheet is torn and the pockets are holding on by an actual thread. The Standard room we got on the grond floor was heated by a small electric diy model heater but did the job.

Very friendly staff and really nice breakfast buffet. They have a lovely bar where you can have drinks, shoot some pool while you wait for your order of spaghetti, risotto or other small snacks. The hotel is located only 5 minutes drive from Centre Sportif Warfaaz where we were expected in the morning. Overall it was a pleasant stay in what obviously once was a beautiful and grand high end hotel.

Nothing really.. all worked perfectly. Suppose the breakfast was really pricey and busy but it’s the same in every hotel now… just ventured to the local coffee shop in town.

Nice hotel, good location with parking and a lovely walk down to the town Centre.
