The place was absolutely stunning and spotlessly clean!! Even the outdoor area was immaculate!! Rooms were very modern and sparkling clean. Stacked mini bar available at an extra cost. Coffee machine and kettle available free of charge with plenty of tea and coffee. The beds are so comfortable. Breakfast room again was modern and clean. A buffet style with plenty on offer along with bacon and eggs cooked to your requirements. Owners are super friendly and introduced us to their local history which was very interesting. Walking distance to beach and all amenities. Will definitely return when next in the area.

A dead (obviously hunted) animal (fox or dog) had been laid in the buero.

Everything was explained thorouhly. It was very clean and comfortable. Nice garden with seats to enjoy coffee in the morning.

The Wifi was a little weak.

Very nice and comfortable appartement; the hosts Eddy and Hilde were very friendly and welcoming and accommodated a late check in without any problem. The breakfast was excellent.

Warm welcome on arrival, Hilde and Eddy are lovely hosts. Secure underground parking, very clean and tidy, rooms are modern and there’s a touch screen (hmi) on the in the room with much local information. The breakfast was plenty and tasty.

We were in the lodge across the road. We knew it was a basic double room. It was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in. Very uncomfortable bed. Awful bathroom with a small shower cubicle with no pressure in the water. Sloping ceiling over the toilet. I banged my head at least five times. The stair case was a steep spiral one. Very difficult to bring suitcases up. The location was not easy walking distance to cafes and restaurants.

The breakfast was good the owner was pleasant.

The owners didn’t had a nice attitude when we arrived there saying on the phone “they were not aware of our booking” which I don’t think it was my fault they don’t check their bookings… Anyway they gave us access to a studio over the phone and come to check on us after 9 pm when they arrived home, things that I was not happy about cause they woke up my son… Not worth the money in my opinion (119 pounds for one night) “Free toiletries” but no shampoo.

Our room was really disappointing and bad value. Unfortunately I chose a family room for 4 but it was tiny. The bunk beds were really narrow and the top one not suitable for children as no side rail. The shower was a tiny closet in the corner of the room. The toilet was outside the room. We had to put one case outside the door as it didn’t fit! It seems there are other rooms in this guest house which might be good but truly our one should not be rented for €220. The following night an extra 70€ got us two super large bedrooms central in the city of Ghent.
