Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsI left the window open for air and the teams playing sports were a little loud outside at night, but you don't hear the big road at all. It was hard to find the actual hotel and the parking is not labeled well.
price and value is great, simple but comfortable and in a great location. Everything you need for a stay.

Czech RepublicOccasional noise from other guests, but that is to be understood in a place teeming with youth. What I did not like was the absence of hot drinks machine. It was impossible to have a coffee in the morning (before the cafeteria opened).
The place is quite distant from the metro terminus at Hermann-Debroux, but there was a bus stop right in front. It is busy with young people performing sports as well as with visitors of different ages staying at the Auberge. I really liked that my room was very spacious and despite being very near the motorway it was absolutely quiet since the auberge itself is situated in a park behind the sports centre itself. The room was perfectly clean and the bed was comfortable, the wifi worked well.

United KingdomThe long corridors with lights going on only when walking through them. If I had been on my own I would have felt apprehensive going back to my room alone .
For a basic hotel the rooms were very clean and the mattress very comfortable. The receptionist was very helpful and had a great sense of humour. All the staff I met were very helpful.

United KingdomEverything was quite good overall.
The hotel boasts a desirable location and pleasant staff, with a convenient self-service breakfast. While the beds were acceptable, comfort could be improved. The room's heating system lacked individual temperature control, resulting in a chilly overnight experience. The wardrobes and bedside cabinets showed signs of age, though the overall cleanliness was satisfactory, although not impeccable, as some yellow stains were noted on the bed linens. The reception staff provided thorough explanations, though their demeanor was somewhat formal and lacked warmth.

FinlandThe bed sheets could have been a lot cleaner (there was a fair amount of hair) I had a double room booked for one person it was not possible to book a single. A friend joined me for one night and I declared it when checking in, in case there was additional tax to pay. I believe they charged for an extra night which was a lot more than if I had booked the same room for 2 people for 2 nights.
Excellent sports facilities, excellent location in a safe area not too far from the city with parking and a bus connection outside. (Transport and tickets could be made a lot clearer in Brussels and with less hidden charges)

GermanyCleanliness in the dorm and bathrooms is a bit lacking. The location is about 7km outside Brussels and transport to and from is sparse.
The dorms and asaociated bathrooms are spacious. The location is a hub for various sports, which is very cool. The staff were also very friendly.

GermanyThe Accomodation is the mixed use as hostel and hotel and is located hidden behind the sport complex therefore it is difficult to find even via GPS. We have reserved 1 family room with 2 bed rooms inside ( equipped with 8 dorm beds) for 4 persons but the staff refused to give us this family room because we were only 4 persons. After some discussion the hostel staff agreed to give us this room but we were requested to use only 4 beds. There was no soap and shampoo in the bathroom. The hotel/hostel is noisy due to the approch path of aircrafts landing at Brussels Airport and several function conference rooms used for seminar etc. The location of the hotel is disadvantage for public transportation users because there is only 1 bus line to the next Metro station ( around 2 kilometer away) operates every 60 minutes only if you miss the bus you have to wait at least 60 min. for the next bus
The hotel has best price for Brussels with parking space. The hotel located in the surburban resident area of Brussels. The reception is at the sport complex and the staff is very friendly. The room was clean and roomy. WLAN worked very well. The brakfast was inexpensive but you get what you pay nothing more but it met our requirement.

Democratic Republic of CongoWe had communication issues upon arrival that affected our experience. There was unclear information about facilities like the communal kitchen and laundry. More guidance on these amenities would have been helpful. The fridge was too small for all the guests, making it difficult to store food for everyone.
The location is very convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the nearest metro station, making it easy to explore the city. The venue has easy access to the highway, perfect for road trips and day excursions. A standout feature of Auberges Des 3 Fontaines is its ample space, making it comfortable for small and large groups—room to spread out and relax.

HungaryA short walk from the closest metro station. Kids are loud in the corridors till 10-11 pm. The breakfast was really bad, especially for this price. The lights have motion sensor in the bathroom which were continously turning off during a shower. I find that annoying and dangerous.
